"We'll be watching online. We promise." My dad said, hugging me and Luke goodbye.
"Take care of her. I don't want anything to happen like it did last time you was in LA." He said, narrowing his eyes at Luke. He gulped then nodded.
"Flight 948. Please report to boarding area. Thank you."
"Let's go." Luke said, looking at his band mates and me and Tyde.
"What do you think about closing the show Melly?" Ashton asked, walking next to me.
"Nervous! How about opening it, you freaking pop stars?" I laughed, shoving his shoulder. He rolled his eyes.
"Punk, not pop stars, punk. Exited though."
"You're about as punk at a piece of paper Ash."
He rolled his eyes before whining to Luke about how I called them not punk.
We boarded the plan and I was sat between Michael and Calum.
Tyde: You got the quiet ones. Luke and Ashton won't quit arguing.
Melanie: S2S..
Tyde: Not cool.
Melanie: Dude. I'm past cool, plus I'm brilliant!
Tyde: If you could see me now, I'd be laughing at you and rolling my eyes.
Melanie: -____- Whale, be that way.
I put my phone on airplane mode and locked it.
"So what do you plan on doing?"
"I'm doing Bring Me To The Horizons Drown. I was also hoping, since you guys have done a cover of it already, that'd you'd maybe do the music?" I smiled. Something you didn't know about me was, I uploaded covers of songs on a channel. Not my channel, but a second channel.
I wasn't signed to a label and Lukes tried so damn hard to get me to sign to his, but I just won't. Not yet anyways. I want to work for it. I don't want it to be handed to me.
"We love to. It's be fun. Doing music with two very talented Hemmings? Hell to the yeah." Calum laughed, butting into our conversation.
I nodded before leaning my head onto the head rest on my seat and closing my eyes. Here's to a long 15 hour plan ride from Sydney, Australia to Los Angeles, California.
---"We're in LA Melly! Get up!" Michael yelled loudly in my ear.
"Everything damn time." I cursed under my breath as I rubbed my ear.
We got off the plan, getting our luggage and hailing a taxi that would take us to our hotel, which was conveniently located next to the convention center where the TCAS was being held.
"Alright. Mel. You have sound check before us. Ours is right after yours so you can just hang around with Tyde while we are rehearsing or you can go back to the hotel and go swimming or something." Luke mumbled, tugging at his blonde locks. He was obviously stressed about tonight. You see, he had gotten sick about a week ago and now all of the boys are sick.
"Luke, you don't look good." I said, pressing my hand to his forehead, "You're not warm."
He sighed before laying his head in his hands, sighing.
"I just don't want to let anyone down."
"You won't Luke. I promise." I smiled, running my hand over his back.
"You're literally the best sister ever. I'd hug you, but I don't want you sick."
---"What doesn't destroy you, leaves you broken instead
Got a hole in my soul growing deeper and deeper
And I can't take
One more moment of this silence, the loneliness is haunting me
And the weight of the world's getting harder to hold up"
My voice echoed through the center. I could see several people stopping and staring. I was collaborating with the boys. I decided to have them sing several part of it.
"It comes in waves, I close my eyes
Hold my breath and let it bury me
I'm not okay, and it's not alright
Won't you drag the lake and bring me home again?" Lukes voice belted out, mine harmonizing with it.
"Don't let me drown.." I finished off the song.
I hopped off the stage, letting the boys do their sound check.
I sat beside Tyde who was sitting in his assigned seat.
"Already found your seat?" He nodded before pointing next to him. My seat was directly next to his and the boys was infront of us. Luke was right infront of me and Michael was infront of Tyde.
"I can mess with him all night long!" I squealed.
I looked beside me seat to see Derek Hough wrote in a huge font and his picture beside it. Mark was beside him.
---It was now time for the TCAS and we was ready.
"Melanie! Mom wants a picture!" Luke shouted through our conjoined rooms. It was me, Tyde, and Ashton in one room and Michael, Calum, and Luke in the other.
I got up, adjusting my dress and walking into their room.
"Damn." Calum whistled, teasingly.
"Thanks Cal."
"Here Ash. Take this." Luke stood beside me wrapping his arm around my small shoulder. I placed my arm around his back and a hand on his chest.
Ashton snapped the photo before handing the phone back to Luke.
"You look beautiful little sister."
