Chapter 15

Liam and I go around the hotel and make sure everything is secure for the storm. The rain and wind have really kicked up.

"Do you have any of those battery powered candles?" Liam asks.

"Yes, there is a big box in the office, along with some flashlights." I reply.

"The lights will probably go out soon, so we should have one room setup with the candles. I'll set them up in my room." Liam offers.

Hmm, stuck in Liam's hotel room with him. Thank you God for this storm.

"Ok, I have to finish a couple things in the office and grab us some waters, then I'll be up."

Liam puts one arm around my waist and whispers in my ear. "Don't take too long."

Then he takes the box of candles and heads upstairs.

I on the other hand stand there in the office, frozen. Does he realize what he does to me?

I've been thinking a lot. I know what's going to happen between Liam and I tonight. I feel like I should be nervous, but honestly I've never been so sure of anything in my life.

I grab the waters and some snacks, then make a stop at my room. I put a few things in a overnight bag. I'm touching up my makeup and hair, when the lights go out.

Liam is calling for me. I stick my head out in the hall, with the flashlight on my face. "I'm fine. I'll be right there."

Liam smiles. "Alright, I'll leave the door open. Be careful."

With the help of the flashlight I find my favorite dress. It's light purple, a perfect mixture of feminine and sexy. I know I'm only walking down the hall but I add a pair of wedges.

Grabbing everything, I head out in the hall. I gasp at the sight before me. There is a row of candles in the hall, lighting my way. Alongside them are rose petals making a path from my room to Liam's.

I pause a moment, tempted to pinch myself. Can this be real?

I head down the hall, all my recent dreams about to come true.
