Through The Dark (Liam Payne)

Chapter 35

Liam disappears for a little bit while I take a shower. When he returns he says he has a surprise for me, asking me to follow him. I take his hand and he leads me to the community balcony. He has several candles around and a tray with tea and biscuits. "Awww, Liam, you re-created our special night." I give him a kiss. "You even found the good cookies." I wink.

Liam laughs. "I know your hiding spot now." He wraps me in his arms. "I wanted us to re-live that night because it was very special to me."

I smile. "It was very special to me too, Liam."

We stay up for a couple of hours. Having our tea and biscuits, talking, then falling asleep just like we did that night. Laying in chairs, side by side, with our hands entwined.

Liam wakes me with a kiss. I look around, it's still dark out. "What's up?" I ask sleepily. He has the biggest grin on his face.

"You and I are going on a trip." He says.

"Really? Where?" I ask excitedly.

"Yes, really. I want to be alone with you, like during the storm. And where...is a secret for now."

I'm so happy. I can't wait to truly be alone with Liam. "It doesn't matter where Liam, as long as I'm with you."

He helps me up from the chair and gives me a long kiss. "Let's go get ready."

Before we head out the door, I get on my tiptoes and wrap my arms around Liam's neck. I kiss him. He smells so good it's hard not to get distracted. "Thank you, Liam. I'm so excited about spending time alone with you."

"Me too, Love. You'll have plenty of time to write as well." He says before giving me a kiss on my forehead. We head to the car that's taking us to the airport.

As soon as we get on the plane, Liam lets me know that it will be a long flight. "We better use this time to sleep, Love. Once we get where we are going, we won't be getting much sleep." He says with a wink.

I grin. "I like the sound of that."
