Seamus, Dean, Neville and Parvati all stayed in the cabin with me to tell story of "the boy who lived". He defeated the Dark Lord when he was a tike, but the strange thing was that this wizard was unstoppable, not even the greatest of wizards could defeat him. Not only did Harry survive, but he took down the greatest threat to the magical world that anyone had seen in centuries.
So, my brother since became famous...
Pieces of the stories sounded familiar to me... it makes sense! My dreams! I must have been there that night! What happened to me? Where am i in the story? It doesn't add up.
"Was there anyone else there? In the house? Other than..."
"No," said Seamus, "not according to the story we know. Which is why what you're saying... it-"
"It doesn't add up, I know..."
I thought about it for a moment, while the rest of the cabin fell silent. What could have possibly happened for no one to know who I am? What could the reason why I never existed after the photo that Hagrid showed me. Or even what the headmaster had said in the letter.
"Maybe, you just have the same name or something?" Said Neville.
"Yeah, maybe" I said, feeling down and confused.
"This must be very strange for you," said Parvati, "I think you've taken in too much for one day"
There was a rapid knock on the door and Seamus slid it open to a large ginger woman who looked like a cross between a munchkin and a candy King! She wore a stripy outfit covered in chocolate which came with an apron. There were sweat droplets on her forehead, and her hair looked wiry and tangled.
They all grabbed up different sweets, but they weren't normal sweets. The jelly beans were weird colours and weird flavours like bogies or toe jam, the chocolate frogs were jumping like frogs, people were moving and disappearing from photos in little cards they got, never ending candy strings, sweets that burst or flew or lit up fantastic colours. Everything was loud and sickly.
During all the excitement, and the new and fantastic things I had just witnessed for the first time, the train suddenly slammed to a halt. The lights flickered and train became cold. The train yanked forward a little bit and shook.
"What's going on?!" Said a scared Neville.
"I don't know," Dean responded looking around cautiously
"Maybe we've broken down," said Parvati
The cabin grew colder and colder as ice grew on the windows and we could see our breath. Everything was dark and all you could hear was the creaking of the metal of the train expanding.
Then, a dark ghostly figure, with what looked like black drapes floating in the air, slowly floated past the condensed window of the cabin.
I saw its bony hand rise up, its fingers spread. It stopped as if it was looking straight into our cabin. I was petrified. My body went stiff as a board. The dark figure waited, still, then continued past us. All we could hear now was each others panicked breaths.
"What was that?" I whispered to Seamus, my fingers gripped into his wrist.
"I don't know," he whispered back, "Maria?"
"Yeah?" I replied, my mind still frazzled.
"My hand," he said, "you're nails, it kind of hurts,"
"Oh my God, i'm so sorry!" I whispered still and released
Suddenly I felt life get sucked out of me. It was like my breath, every part of me was being pulled from my body. I grabbed my chest and pushed my self back into my seat. I couldn't hear anything other than a high pitch ringing. Seamus and Parvati were silhouettes in my tunnel vision. Their shapes became blurs, then their blurs became black and all I could hear was ringing in my ears, a baby crying and man yelling.
