I was allowed to roam freely around the castle and explore my way into learning the ins and outs. I saw a bunch of weird things along the way. There were two ginger boys selling sweets called Weasley's Wizard Weazy's. I definitely didn't want to try those. One of them popped up next to me as I was walked by and scared the living day lights out of me. "Hello there!" Said one, then suddenly the other popped up holding the box full of multicoloured, multishaped Weazies and said "new face I'm seeing, what bout' you George?"
"Yeah Fred, looking like a fourth year, not a first! What are you thinking George?"
"Exactly the same thing, Fred!" They grinned largely.
"Can we interest you in any sweets newbie?" They giggled. I stared at the box of nasties nauseously and replied "no thanks, don't think magic sweets go down to well with my stomach but uh... Thanks anyways..."
I continued to walk and by the time I took two steps they both popped up right in front of me. I jumped and let out a little shriek. "Stop doing that!" I yelled shakily
"But that's what these sweets are supposed to do!" Said one.
"Make you sick!" They both sang melodically.
"I don't care," I pronounced each word carefully, "get those nasty things away from me, I ain't buying, mate"
They both looked at each other and walked back to where the customers were.

I found a class where a tall teacher with shoulder length, shiny, black hair was teaching what seemed to be called potions. They were learning how to make energy potions, so I over heard. "Care to join the class?" He sluggishly told me, not asked me.
"Oh, I'm not..." I began, "urm..." I looked around. I recognised Draco and Seamus and decided to stay. "I'm not part of the class, well, yet... I think. I don't know my classes yet"
"Well, you'll be glad to know you get to choose which classes you wish to take," he began getting closer and closer, "so if I were you, I would use the spare time you have left taking a close look at all of the classes you can and choose wisely"
He kind of shook me up a bit. Mostly because he was authoritative, but not intimidating, but intimidating in a way that it was authoritative. I just came out with a very quiet "uh huh..." and looked down a little bit feeling awkward. Mostly because his face was right on top of mine. I pointed at an empty seat and awkwardly mumbled "should I uh... Sit, or-"
"Take a seat," he swiftly turned round, "welcome to potions, Miss Potter".
Everyone's bodies turned right round and eyes shot, fixated at me. Whispers and mumbles travelled around the room and I could faintly hear my name "Potter" being bounced around the room as either a question or a theory.

I move my tongue to the front of my mouth and widened my eyes awkwardly. I slightly tutted awkwardly, not an irritated tut, like an awkward tut, as I strolled in, "you're real good at making things uh, awks, ey, Sir?"
"Very," he coldly said, "you will call me Professor Snape if you are to stay in my classroom"
"Not even Snape? Or Sir? Or Sir Snape?" I tried to ease off tension
"Wow, aren't you just brilliant. You've managed to spend five minutes in my classroom already wasting my time with foolish jokes and congratulations; you've already made it into my bad books."
I pinched my lips into my mouth and puffed up my cheeks like a blow fish. "Sorry, Professor. I'll try not to be such a... Distraction" I apologised
He just "hmm"ed and carried on with the class. I went and sat next to a girl with short, frizzy'ish, curly light brown hair. She stared at me a little bit but tried not to make it obvious. I just looked around like I couldn't see her and tried to understand what Professor Snape was talking about.
"Mrs Granger," said Professor Snape loudly, "how would you make a healing potion?"
"Uh," she began hesitantly, as she was so focused on staring at me. As she spoke I noticed a boy next to our table watching me closely sitting with a ginger lad. He had thick dark brown hair like mine, blue eyes, glasses and a weird scar on his forehead. I felt like I'd seen him somewhere before. We both watched each other cautiously, as if someone was about to pop. I broke first and looked away. I swallowed nervously and began to shake my leg. I did that when I got nervous. I felt like everyone in the room was staring at me. I just couldn't forget that whoever my brother was he couldn't find out, and Professor Snape has made this simple task very difficult.
