I awoke on the floor in between the benches. I sat up straight and began frantically calling and looking for Harry. Hermione and Ron were gone, it was just Seamus, Dean and Parvarti. They were all trying to calm me down but it wasn't working at all. Watching my brother fall from the sky was terrifying. I believe that what I saw prior wasn't a dementor attacking me, but attacking Harry.
"Where is he?! Is he ok?" I screamed, shaking incredibly.
"He's gone to the hospital wing. Maria you need to calm down- just breathe-" said Seamus trying to help.
"Calm down?!" I yelled scrambling to my feet, "Don't tell me to calm down! What if you saw Dean falling out of the sky?! Would you be calm?!"
"No, I know! Please just-" he continued.I sped down the wooden stairs of the pitch to make my way to the hospital wing. Following me were the same people standing above me when I woke up.
"Maria!" Seamus called, "Maria- please slow down!"
"No! You speed up!" I agitatedly called back.We trudged up the steep, godforsaken, muddy hill and finally entered the castle. Our squidgy feet echoing the halls.
Just as we reached the doors of the hospital wing, Seamus called out and said the stupidest thing he could've.
"Maria! Calm down!"
I spun quickly on my feet and stopped still meeting his face with mine.
"Seamus..." i began through my teeth trying to stay calm, "tell me to calm down... one more time..."
He gulped and closed his mouth silently.
I turned back around to open the doors.
"But- maria,"
I spun back around quickly again and screamed, "one more time!"
He flinched back when I yelled.
"... you're scared of me," i said softly, hurt.
"No! I'm scared of being blasted across the corridors! Again! Or having my eyebrows singed off! Or my clothes catching fire!"
I took a step back, my eyes welling up, ready to break down in tears.
He sighed sympathetically, "come here," he said taking me in his arms giving me a hug.
I felt a sudden wave of relief come over me. It felt like I was on the road to forgiveness.
"You're just stressed... a lot has happened," he said softly
"Im sorry I blew you across the hall..." I croaked
"It's fine,"
"And into that big oak table as well,"
"It's ok..." he sighed
"And burnt your eyebrow off-"
"Ok! No more apologies!" He quickly pushed the conversation away, "Lets see how Harry is".My stomach turned in a million ways. I didn't know if Harry was dead or alive. My memories of loneliness sped through my mind like a one second flash back.
I turned and went through the door. The entire Gryffindor team was surrounding one bed. It was Harry's. I ran and squeezed through the crowd to get to the front.
Ron and Hermione were already sat by him as he lay unconscious. Hair wet and cuts on his forehead... he was pale white. Not good at all.
