SAMANTHA'S POV

The rest of the day went by smoothly and we were now back at the Rivers' house. I would be lying if I said I was not surprised. Addison had not tried to do anything since the confrontation this morning. Maybe she really had given up, which would be a first.

"How was your first day?" Aaron asked as we walked through the door.

"Better than I thought." I answered honestly.

"Why are you still here? I thought you would be at dads." I added.

"Well if you want me to go, I will." He joked.

"No! I was just asking!" I promised and he chuckled.

"I talked to him on the phone earlier. He had something to do. And I was hanging out with Eric while you were gone." He clarified and I nodded.

"SAMMY!!!! I missed you!" Nick squealed throwing himself at me. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you too buddy!" I agreed.

"You tired of me already?" Missy asked offended.

"No I missed you too!" He swore as he left me to hug her.

"I thought the competition between us had died bro. I told you that you couldn't have Sam." Marc spoke and I rolled my eyes.

"Or Missy." Jasper added.

"If I wanted them, believe me, I could have them." Nick assured confidently. My mouth dropped as Nick looked at me and winked. I looked at Missy who had the same shock on her face.

"If you need me, you know where to find me." Nick said giving Missy's hand a squeeze and flashing us both a smile before walking off towards his room.

"Oh my god." Missy breathed. As soon as he was out of sight I burst out in a fit of laughter that Missy soon joined into.

"I knew I would rub off on that little punk eventually." Marc muttered half proud and half peeved.

"Don't go turning into cougars. Got it?" Jasper warned pointing at us.

"He was pretty slick." Aaron complimented appreciatively.

"That he was." Missy snickered shaking her head. That little boy was something else.

"If only he was older." I sighed. I looked at Marc and realized how much alike they really were. I had the older version right in front of me.

For the next couple of weeks, we all got back into the flow of school. Things were going good. When we weren't at school, Aaron and I spent as much time together as possible. We even went skate boarding a few more times with the others. Jasper was so happy now that he wasn't falling every five minutes. Nick was becoming more and more like Marc, it was creepy. He was doing it more to be funny and we all knew it. My feelings for Marc were growing more and more each day and I was becoming confused. I was going to talk to Missy about it but I already knew what she would say, so I decided against it. Now I was in the living room along with everyone else as we were saying our goodbyes to Aaron. He had stopped by dad's earlier for their farewell and I was glad he didn't come here to do it.
