FIVE YEARS LATER

December 16th

I was now 21 years old and in college to become a teacher. Marc got an apartment two years ago and I moved in with him. Aaron graduated from ECU and found a place within twenty miles of Marc and I. Mom finally fixed up our old house and decided to sell it. I didn't much blame her. She now lived in a new house next to the Rivers'. She even has a boyfriend now! His name is John and he is really nice. They have been dating a couple of months. Karen finished high school along with me, miraculously. She was always the smart one. I am proud of her for it too. I don't think I could have caught up that fast, but she did. Eric and Aaron are still the best of friends! They actually became roommates after Aaron graduated from college. Eric got his own place last year so he and his girlfriend could move in together. Who is Eric's girlfriend you ask? Karen! They really hit it off! They were really cute together. They have been together for three years. Nick is now 13! Wow I am getting old. He is even more like Marc the older he gets! He is tall too! He looks at least 17 and has turned into quite the ladies man. Emily and Damon are still the same. Addison an the rest of us were still good friends. She was in a serious relationship with a woman named Lacey. Yup, you heard me right. Addison converted to the other side! I was shocked at first but they seem to really care for each other. Nick wasn't too happy about that though. Missy and Jasper are still going strong. The two knuckle heads were engaged! They are getting married today! Missy was also pregnant but that's a secret. She just found a couple weeks ago and hasn't gotten the guts to tell Jasper yet. I was so excited! The wedding was at five in the afternoon and here I was in the bridal room and Missy was wigging out.

"Missy calm down. You look beautiful, the wedding is going to be beautiful, we both know Jazz is going to be beautiful, the honeymoon is going to be beautiful, and you are going to have beautiful babies." I coached and she started calming her breathing.

She really did look beautiful. Her hair was in perfect loose curls and she had on light make-up. Her dress was a white silk gown that form fitted her every curve then flowed at the bottom.

"What if I fall!?" She asked horrified

"You won't fall." I assured.

"What if he changes his mind?" She asked beginning to freak out.

"I will kick his ass and drag him down the island and make him say 'I do'." I promised.

"What if-" she started and I threw my hand over her mouth.

"Shut up. It will be perfect." I said making slight touch ups to her make up.

"You look gorgeous Missy." Karen smiled from next to me.

"Thank you. I don't know what I would do without you." She gushed.

"You would be in a strait jacket by now." Addison joked and I shot her a look.

"Be nice babe." Lacey took hold of Addison's hand.

"Here is something old." Emily stated placing a Vail into Missy's soft curls.

"Something new." I added placing a necklace around her neck that I bought her as a wedding gift.

"Here is something blue." My mom grinned holding up a blue lacey garter. I shook my head and Missy blushed.
