...'s pov:
The cold wind is blowing through my snow-white fur. My claws are craving firm grips as I keep my paws in motions. I know he's out there somewhere. He doesn't have a lot of time. He's weak, he's without a wolf...essentially he's defenseless as well as dying. I need to take him back to Kate's pack before it's too late. I know where he is. The Moon-Goddess told me before she turned me into this white wolf. I guess the legend is true after all. I never believed it before, but now...who can I not?

I stop by a hill overlooking the land in front of me. I see the pack house where Blake and Kate spent their four years together. Now that mansion is simply covered in complete darkness as the cold wind keeps blowing harshly, looking for an entrance to make me freeze, but it fails. It's near impossible to find Blake now. He's no longer a werewolf, which means his scent is very different from what it used to be. I know what it's like though, thanks to the Moon-Goddess. From the moment I find him, I know the rest by memory.

I finally get to Don Black's cabin and the sense of a broken link hits me like a powerful gust of wind. I thought that the monster known as Don Black was gone to the world. I thought he was dead for so many years, and right where I stand, with what I see in front of me, I've been proven wrong. He came back to haunt Blake and in the process hurt Kate. The damage done is far beyond any repair that I know of. The Moon-Goddess says she has a plan and all I am left to do is trust her.

I sniff through the air, trying to locate the direction where Blake might be. He's either managed to get a distance by himself, or his monster and sad excuse of a father has dragged him out and just left him. Considering winter is just around the corner, he could very well freeze to death unless I find him. I've been travelling for two weeks and now I know I'm close.

I find a direction and start walking, my nose sniffing the ground as I notice that he's somehow hiding in one of the bushes. I walk over as I see his hand barely sticking out. When I touch it with my nose, I can tell it's freezing cold. I burst through the bush carefully before I place my paw on his chest and barely manage to make out a heartbeat. Damn it... I might be too late...

I put my teeth to his sweater and drag him out of the bushes. He's not responding. He seems to be truly gone from the world. That's the only reason why I turn back to my human-form. He's not supposed to see me, not yet I've been told. I try to assess his state and the injuries, but the only one I see is the clot of blood on his chest, the wound has actually been stitched up, poorly but sufficient enough as I try to shake him awake.

- Blake, come on...give me something, don't give up.

I let out as he's still not responding to my calls. I take a deep breath, almost feeling like I've come too late and failed my mission. I've failed the Moon-Goddess and I've failed Kate. Oh, how I wish that she's coping. She's so strong, she just has to believe in it herself.

- You are not too late, but you must hurry. His heart will not beat for long and I've been keeping him alive for quite a while already. He needs medical attention now. Bring him to his mate's pack. They will be able to help him, and from there, he will be able to start healing...

The Moon-Goddess says to me as I look up at the sky. She's shining bright tonight. That's the only reason why I'm here. Whenever the moon is out, so am I until I fulfill my purpose.

- What about his wolf...and the link?

I ask.

- With time, he might be able to regain both of them, but it is out of my control...

I sigh deeply to myself before I see that Blake is slightly twitching. That boy is a fighter that's for sure. Before he opens his eyes, I turn back to my big, white wolf. Even though he might not have the energy to express it, he's not feeling particularly safe with a wolf up in his face.

- Who...a-are...y...?

He has to swallow several times and in the end, he doesn't manage to get more out before he's about to pass out. He still keeps his eyes on me though. He's much weaker than I thought he was.

- Just your ordinary samaritan. I'm going to take you home to your family...

A/N: I am so excited about this. I know exactly the plots I want to play out in the sequel, which won't before a little while, in the mean time I would like to hear your theories. Who is this mystery wolf? Why would he/she bring Blake back to his family?

To add to this teaser-prologue, I shall reveal the title of this story, one that I have had in my head for quite a while already, and it is related to the white wolf. The last book of the series will be titled:

"The Legend of The White Wolf" !!!!!!!
