The Joseph Residence

Tyler Joseph slept peacefully in his room. He was curled up in his soft blankets, and seemed almost like a child. His brothers slept across the room in their bunk bed, while he slept in a separate bed. One only for him, him being still the newest one after years.

Tyler was the youngest in the household, still the latest addition to the Joseph family. He was the last male, and the strangest out of the four. He had claimed to see things as a child, but his parents and family let it pass as a "phase", one that they thought he'd grow out of as the years passed.

And years passed indeed, the visions still there. Tyler could feel odd presences, see them, and sometimes, even talk to them. His parents, scared, took him to a specialist, who claimed that there was nothing wrong with Tyler and, him too, claimed that it was just a phase.

It was not just a phase, though. It was never one at all. The fear of the unknown clouded the minds of the Josephs, and Tyler came to know this in his early teens. So, he kept quiet of things. He never told a soul of the ones he saw hiding beneath his bed, in his closet, and the place where they manifested the most, his head.

Tyler has kept quiet of his "gift" for as long as he could. Until now, everyone thought Tyler was alright, and all the things he claimed to see were just fictitious. Despite that not being the truth nor reality, Tyler made them think it by appealing it. Did he do a good job at that...

The young male shivered underneath his blankets, chills running down his spine, and goosebumps rising on his pale skin. He breathed out shakily, and forced himself to keep his eyes shut. He felt cold hands grasp at him, making him whimper. They soon stopped after hearing the small noise escape him. He sighed in relief, keeping his eyes squeezed shut.

"Wake up..." a sinister-like voice whispered in his ear. An awful sense of dread filled Tyler, as he opened his eyes, slowly.

That was the last time Tyler Robert Joseph ever opened his eyes again.

a/n: this is my first attempt at a horror like story and im super excited about it even though it's gonna be lame but still !!!! :)))
