I stepped over the border in all too familiar place. The swings had been removed but the house never changes, an old home can never be forgotten. I smiled taking a deep breath, seeing Saphire peacefully sleeping in my arms.

I made my way out not knowing which way to go firstly, sure I knew a few places where he could be but yet again.

He could be anywhere.

I wondered around the city, thankful it's not raining. Complete opposite actually, the night is calm and warm voices over voices being heard. So many noise in this world I had nearly forgotten.

"Well, what have we got here ?"

"Can you smell it ? She's a golden ticket everybody." I froze noticing the three cloaked figures standing around me not realising I ended up in a deserted area.

"She's definitely not from here. A royalty perhaps from the other world's ?" They snickered at their comments, making my heart beat rise a little.

"I'm here for Death, please take me to him it's important." I spoke out with confidence, authority laced through my words. I clutched the baby closer to me, a slight worry rising in me.

"If Death wanted to see you, you would already be with him." They started moving closer to me and instead of worry there it was replaced with anger. Sudden endanger made my senses spark up, my powers already rising.

A circle of fire formed around me, using the wind element to push the three far away from me. But reapers recover fast and it didn't take long before they started back. Ice formed under their feet making them loose balanced and the roots buried under the concrete burst through, tightly securing the three bodies to the ground.

"What is going on ?" A loud voice boomed through, making Saphire start with soft tears of discomfort.

The lean, dark body covered with a black cloak could be recognised by anyone, Especially by me. I stood still leaving him scan the area and situation in front of him, with he's little reapers tied to the ground. With just a wave of my arm, everything disappeared.

"Ariel ? Why are you here ?" Soon he realised who I was, perhaps sensing my presence.

He stepped closer not seeing the little body resting in my arms, he's hooded face already uncovered. I smiled weakly, turning my gaze to the little girl now peaceful again brushing the velvet blanket from her face.

When I glanced at Death he has almost a confused face, still not catching the reason why I had returned especially with my daughter.

"Alcaseus, I introduce you to Saphire. Saphire Demitri, your daughter."

(Demitri is Death's surname. *Alcaseus Demitri.)
