"Her golden hair swayed to the waves,
Soft pale skin that looked almost looked white,
And her big blue eyes that resembled the oceans.
She sang us her song, got us all charmed.
We were all under her spell, until she dragged us down.
Down, Down,Down, down under she dragged you when your last breath was drawn.
Down, Down, Down, down under you'll go. The last thing you'll see is the beauty of her."
We all sat outside on the deck staring out into the night sky, while i sang the song of Mermaids. When i saw Death i didnt run to him, i didnt faint or cry.
I stood still like stone taking in hes features that have not changed one bit since i seen him last. Hes classic smirk played across hes face as if we were never apart.
"So mermaid will bassicly eat you alive ?" Death had listened to all my stories and everything else about this world with the other crew members to add some themselves.
"Their beauty is unforgiveable, no matter how strong you are. You will give in to them and become hypnotized." I couldnt keep my eyes off of Death. My stomach kept squeezing in at the sight of him.
"But hey thats why ye got me on board. I wouldnt let a Sirene take ye, she has no effect on me." They all laughed while i shared a heated stare with Death.
"Whats the deal with dragons ? Are all dragon riders ?" Hes questions came with a constant flow exactly like Marcus.
"No, only those who control a powerful amount of magic. Only those who are the strongest are able to hold the title of being a dragon rider, it is a hard task and responsibility to be bonded with a magnificent creature like them." Death scrunched up hes face in some kind of disgust making me chuckle.
"What not in a favour of dragons Guardian dragon ?" He burrowed hes eyebrows together, the little lines showing on hes forehead.
"Not if they try to kill you and rip your insides out no. Comes with a lovely reminder." He lifted up hes top to show a scar but the only thing i saw were the perfectly sculpted lines and tan skin.
"Thats what you get for sneaking past the borders." He send me a playful glare, a smile playing across my lips.
God how i missed him, no matter how much i hate to admit it. Soft whispers made me snap out of my thoughts as i glanced around the dimly lit deck.
Marcus had been leaning over the railing, hes eyes somewhat clouded. I proped myself up pushing my hat back a little carefully listening to him.
"God i have been singing the song for fun ! All men stay down and block your ears. Idiots." My body shot up as they obeyed my orders.
I was only a few inches from grabbing hes shirt so damm close and he just.. fell from my grasp. Litrelly. Hes body went down in a loud splash as i hit my body against the railing my hair falling over my shoulders.
"Marcus ! Im going to kill you myself !" She hadnt taken him away yet but he was leaning in for her magical kiss.
And i understood why all men fell for them. Her voice was truly magical and her beauty was almost unbearable that it made me look over myself twice. Swinging my legs over the wooden railing, diving head first under the water.
Landing straight beside Marcus i pushed him out of the way, making the Sirene very much pissed off, hissing her fangs at me. That was until i hit her with the handle of my dagger.
"How dare you ! Betraying your own kind !" She hissed at me before disappearing under water with a splash of water covering me from her tail.
I stayed there in shock but when i turned around Marcus was already back on deck, rope ladder waiting for me. I stomped my way over to shivering Marcus, the water heavily dripping from me.
The anger boiled in my blood my face reddening every moment the closer i got to Marcus.
"You goddamm moran !" With that my fist met with hes nose, knocking Marcus unconsious.
