"You have no choice Death ! You have to take her, keep her safe and hidden so nobody finds her." Death transported us back to he's apartment, same as I remember it.
"I am the Angle of Death I cannot take care of a baby, Ariel. Why can't she stay at the castle like a proper princess ?" He questioned my begging as I glanced down at Saphire lying on the couch.
"She has the blood of evil running through her veins, people would fear her like they feared me. Who knows what they would want to do to her." I quietly drifted off my face falling at the thought of leaving her behind.
I weakly smiled as she grasped my finger with her little hand, pulling me closer to her little giggles passing past her lips. I laughed sliding my hands under her body, pulling her up to rest her against my chest as I leaned against the soft cushions.
Tears formed in my eyes as I carefully listened to her heartbeat and held her close for maybe the last few moments. Death came and kneeled before us the palm of he's hand resting on my cheek, when I leaned into hes touch comfort spreading through.
"Please Death, please take care of her." My voice broke, attempting to hold back the tears spilling from my eyes down my cheeks.
He simply nodded sitting by my side, putting a long arm around my shoulders pulling both me and Saphire into him. Firstly seeing how he made any kind of contact with her, running a finger down her face before she grasped onto him.
He fell asleep with my baby tightly wrapped in he's arms so she wouldn't fall as she peacefully slept. I stood there taking in the sight before me, my stomach clenching and my chest aching by every moment that passed.
"I'm sorry baby I couldn't stay, but you must know if I could stay I would do within a heartbeat. If we could be a complete family, with your twin sister too.
Even if you won't see me, I promise I will be always watching over you. We will meet again, I promise.
I love you Saphire with all my heart, don't leave anyone ever put you down. You are the daughter of Queen of the four kingdoms and the Great Death Angle himself.
He's not all evil as everybody says, I was the first to see light within him and after the many years and even in our worst moments, the light still remains.
You are the Princess Saphire Demitri Kingston, one of her kind. Nobody shall dare to put you down, don't let them.
Love, mom."
