I always believed im after life, or atleased something more to us after we die. We cannot just simply be born, live and die. What if we die young ? Or do not reach our dreams and true potentials.
What if our life is taken from us unwillingly by someone who did not have the right. Even if we did reach the top of our ladder and you became a Queen for all sakes, there possibly is more to than just living and dying.
For others eyes you would expect me to be happy as i became a Princess of the biggest importance and entered the four worlds of magic and fairytales. I was bonded to a man of every girls dreams but it still did not reach my hopes. The man i had wanted to be with was made up of evil and did not match my title.
I did not get a chance to bring a life to the world but sacrificed my life to my people and keep the balance leveled. There will always be evil within all good and light of good in the darkest evil.
Once again in my short life i faced death for the second time, this time with my own choice. First my mother gave up her life to save my own so i could take my place amongst the four thrones and Death granted me back my life.
Now Death cannot be here and save me since its not hes job here. I will leave by the side of my other half, best friend and life its own Sirena.
Her body rested behind my back, softly raising from her slow breathing. I smiled weakly as her head rested by my side our eyes locked, tears filling out the corners of my eyes snuggling closer into her.
My hands rested on my stomach only to recieve a light nod from Sirena, placing her large snout on my stomach beside my hand. The energy flowed stronger, the bright light burned. My skin glowed, my hair and my eyes along with Sirena.
My back arched at the overwhelming power the shot travelled decorated the dark skies, thunder breaking through the silence.
"I am sorry Ariel. It wasent enough." I sighed as the effort of continueing the life failed.
"Perhaps in our next life my beautiful angel." Her large wing covered over my small body as we drew our last breaths.
Death's POV.
"Run faster ! Hurry !" My voice roared until we all came to a sudden stop at the bright stream that shot into the sky.
I gasped staying still my eyes burning at the bright sight that slowly died down, noticing the others already running past me continueing to the top of the mountain.
But we already seemed to be late. Nathaniels shout seemed miles away but yet he was only right beside me. Everything blurred around me apart from her fragile body laying under her dragons wing.
Nathaniel was already kneeling her side shaking her lifeless body which all seemed way too familiar. Once again her life escaped from her grasp and i was there to see it all, watch her chest no longer raising and her heart no longer beating.
Finally catching onto Nates words i couldnt help but leave out a bark of laughter, making him glare.
"This isnt funny. You gave her life back like that, do it again." I shook my head at hes false hopes, kneeling down beside her head stroking her hair.
"Her first kiss gave her back life. Why wouldnt her last have the same effect ?" He expected a kiss to bring her to life again.
Maybe when you loose a loved one it gives you all kinds of false expectations.
"This is not a fairytale Nathaniel. Shes gone." He gave me that challenging look that said your a coward for not even trying.
I let out a frustrated groan turning back to her peaceful face. She looked like she was sleeping, stroking back her hair my eyes fixed on her pink lips. Her cheeks were flushed and her skin warm, bringing my face closer i met upon her lips. Until pulling back and angrily standing up at the failure.
"I told you ! This isnt a fairytale !" I shouted at Nathaniel whos face completely dropped.
I watched as her crew took her body and carried her downhill, Nathaniel using hes powers to carry Sirenas large body right behind Ariel. Sadness had fallen upon us all, everyone remaining silent. Missing her bright face and annoying face, always so happy that made me sick.
"S-She b-breathing !" Everyone came to a stop as she was lowered to the ground, watching patiently to see her chest rise.
A loud intake of breath from beside us made us jump that came from Sirena and then we all turned back to see Ariel's life soar right back inbetween her lips.
