We were going to be on sail for nearly a month due to no longer having Ariel on boat to push the winds in our favour, so instead it went with its flows.
I stared down into the ocean watching the shimmering fish tails gracefully moving beneath the waters surface, the sirenes hair flowed naturally behind their backs. Groaning in frustration i turned away remembering Ariel down there and how she showed me the world underwater.
A mermaids kiss..
Shaking me head to make the thoughts go away i noticed Archie watching me from the higher deck.
"Looks like someone misses our captain aye ?" I frowned turning to face the moons light hitting against the crystal clear water.
"I wont tell anyone boy, its just your face is like an open book." He chuckled deeply which shifted my thoughts back to the castle.
What if she didnt wake up before we got there and i would never see her again after that ? Im forbidden to step across the castle grounds there is no chance.
This trip might just end in a dissaster.
Ariel's POV.
The strange swaying made my eyebrows burrow together in confusion but the soft fabric beneath me told me it was indeed a bed. Perhaps im in a coffin and the swaying means their carrying me to burry me in the ground.
Dont be stupid, you're on a ship.
My eyes remained closed at the unbelieveable tired state i was in and my body was unable to be moved. My head was pounding and my chest felt heavy to breath.
Sudden creaking of the floors made my eyesbrows burry together but my eyes remained closed.
"You do not understand how much i dislike you, young princess. You are not good enough for my son, you've been with that evil filth. Bonded to him even.
You dont deserve the throne, never did. I always knew there was something about you. You always loved the evil and never stopped. It lives within you." I recognised that voice immediately.
It was my mother in law, Nathaniels mother. I always knew she didnt like me very much, but i didnt expect it to be this bad.
"It is time for you to leave and pass the throne on." Her little speech suddenly clicked in my head and her intensions were revealed.
I struggled to move my body but for some reason i couldnt move one inch so instead i lay still, waiting and wishing for a miracle. I felt arms snake under my little frame before being lifted off.
Cold air hit my bare skin, the fabric of my sleeping gown swaying to the cold breeze. I could sense her struggle of holding me up before resting me on something thin.
"Goodbye Queen Ariel." Her grip left from around and i was thrown into the open.
Crashing noise met my ears realising it was someone stumbling backwards crashing against furniture, a shout echoed through the air and a dominant roar that made me smile right before i broke the surface around me.
The cold water seeped through every inch of my body, my limbs flowing freely around me in the waters. Relaxation hit me as i soared into the deep end, always feeling comfort in water.
My eyelids lifted itself up to see the sun's rayes travell under the water creating a beautiful mirror like effect lighting the crystal blue waters, blues, oranges and reds telling me it was sunset time.
A large shadow was casted above me with a loud splash coming through with purple and gold shimmers blinding my eyes.
Instead of struggling i left myself after a long time feel free, so why not just let go ?
