July 18, it was a perfect summer day and it was the day Kirstie and Avi were getting married. They decided on a location on the beach. The bridesmaids and groomsmen would wear kaki or white clothes to fit the setting. The chairs were lined up to face the ocean and an archway stood at the end of a white roll out carpet acting as the isle. The time decided to start the ceremony was 6:30. Avi and Kirstie were getting ready.
Kirstie asked Esther to be her maid of honor and Kevin was Avi's best man.
*in Kirstie's dressing room*
"I can't believe your marrying my brother... he's such a dork."
"I know... but I love him."
"Stand still Kirst, this dress is tight and I don't wanna rip it."
Kirstie's dress was beautiful. (Pictured above, cause lazy..)
It fit her perfectly and accented her body in the right places. Her short hair was left down, but straightened with her fringe pulled back to create a small bump on top of her head. Her makeup was done by Genevieve, so obviously it looked perfect. Natural makeup with contour and a soft red lipstick. When the girls finished getting Kirstie ready she turned around and looked in the mirror. She brought her hands up to her mouth and gasped.
"Wow, this is exactly the way I pictured how I would look when I was younger. It's perfect."
"If Avi doesn't cry when he sees you, girl, you better turn right back around and start over."
Genevieve with the remark.
"Kirstie you look amazing. I'm sure he'll get a little emotional."
"Thank you guys for doing this for me. I love you all."
"We love you too Kirstie."
In the other dressing room, The boys and Avi were getting ready.
"Guys, I can't believe this is happening, I mean I'm super nervous."
"What are you nervous about?"
Scott asked.
"What if she says no."
"Avi, that's not going to happen. The way she talks about you.. It just won't happen."
"Ok... but what if-"
Mitch cut him off.
"Avi, she loves you and you love her right?"
"Yeah."
"Then just trust how you feel and stop worrying."
Kevin spoke up.
"Yeah bro, you guys were made for each other. I sometimes get a little jealous of how perfect you guys are together. It makes me happy to see you guys so happy."
"Thanks Kevin, Love you."
"Love you too man."
Just then Esther walked in and announced 10 minutes until starting time. Avi's heart sunk to his knees. He couldn't stop worrying about if Kirstie would pull through. But he had to trust their feelings and expect the best. Avi made his way to his place on the alter and awaited his beautiful bride to walk down the isle. The way Avi appeared was a little vulnerable boy who couldn't stop shaking. The anticipation was building up to be too much for him to handle. Just when he thought he was going to break down, the music started and everyone turned in the direction where Kirstie appeared. They made eye contact and in that moment everything around disappeared. It was just Avi and Kirstie. Avi did shed a tear as Kirstie started to walk down the isle. When she reached him he grabbed her hands and kissed her cheek.
"You my dear, look absolutely, stunningly gorgeous. I love you."
He whispered this in her ear so only she would hear it.
"I love you too."
The ceremony was smooth and beautiful. Avi had nothing to worry about. They said their I do's and shared a kiss that bound them together forever, as husband and wife. Everyone cheered and their best friends cried a little bit. Avi and Kirstie grabbed hands and made their way back down the isle as everyone clapped. They went to change into more casual reception clothes and headed to the party.
"That was beautiful you guys!"
"I still can believe this is real.."
"I knew you guys were made for each other."
They all showered Kirstie and Avi with hugs and compliments and congratulations. Soon enough everyone was enjoying themselves and dancing. Kirstie and Avi shared their first dance as husband and wife. Kevin video taped it for them. Afterwords everyone joined them and were having a great time. Until...Jeremy.
He made his way over to Kirstie and tapped her on the shoulder.
She turned and let out a breath of discontent.
"What are you doing here? You weren't invited. How did you even find out about this?"
"Things get around Kirstie."
"Well I don't want you here, so please leave."
She slowly pushed him towards the exit out he grabbed her arm and pulled her into a separate room away from everyone else.
"Ow, Jeremy what are you doi-"
He kissed right on the mouth. She instantly pushed him away and slapped him hard across the cheek.
"What the hell was that for!!?"
"Come on Kirstie I know you wanted it."
"No, I didn't. I'm married now Jeremy. I'm happy with someone else. Just leave me alone."
"I need you Kirstie, I can't stop thinking about when we had sex."
"Please don't talk about this, it's my wedding day and I'd like to enjoy it you bastard."
"Please just give me a chance, I love you."
"That's never going to happen because I'm married. Why don't you understand this?"
"I still know you love me Kirstie."
"Jeremy, I think you need to leave."
"You know I don't take no for an answer, you learned that the hard way my dear."
"Stop it."
"I know you enjoyed the sex, it was amazing and you know it."
"Jeremy..."
He slowly made his way towards Kirstie but she backed away towards the door. He eventually walked her back against the door and locked it.
"This can't happen Jeremy, I won't be that girl. I can't cheat on my husband."
"Who said you couldn't?"
"Me, I'm independent I won't let a man control me. I'm leaving this room and I suggest you do to."
She turned around and unlocked the door and walked out towards Avi. It was late in the party, 11:30pm. Most people were gone. Pentatonix remained, along with Alex, Genevieve, Kate, Jake, and Mario.
"Avi, Jeremy's here. He won't leave."
"When will this guy give up?"
"KIRSTIE!! I WOULD LIKE A WORD WITH YOU!!"
Jeremy shouted from across the room, looking straight into Kirstie's eyes.
