17. The plan

Kirstie was doing so much better since her encounter with Avi (😏). She wasn't entirely herself quiet yet but definitely not what she was before. Her lack of being able to have children still took a toll on her. She always hoped that one day she would have a child and start a family. But that wasn't an option anymore. She could start a family, but she would have to adopt. But first of all get married. Her and Avi finally made the decision to be together, as in official boyfriend and girlfriend. They couldn't be happier. Tour was finally over for the band and everyone could relax and not have to work for a few weeks. This gave them time to spend away from each other, or in Kirstie and Avi's case more time together. Avi would help Kirstie everyday to make her feel loved and not worthless. He took her on romantic dinner dates, walks in the park, had movie nights, and treated her like a princess. He was so in love with her that he couldn't resist being without her. She made him happy and him her. It was almost like they were made for each other. Lately Avi had been thinking of proposing to her but he needed help. He was over at Kevin's for the day and asked him advice.
"Dude, I really love her. She makes me smile just thinking about her."
"I'm happy for you man."
"Kev.. I think I wanna marry her."
Kevin didn't expect that to come out of his best friends mouth. He knew Avi loved Kirstie but it's only been about a couple months since they got together.
"Wow, that's a big step bro."
"That's why I'm gonna ask you for some help. The proposal needs to be perfect."
"Uhhh, ok. Do you think we should get Scott and Mitch involved? I mean they are her best friends."
"True, I think we should, let me call them."

"Hey Scott. I have a question for you."
"Ok, shoot."
"Well, I've been thinking of proposing to Kirstie and need a little help."
"OH MY GOSH, AVI!!! MITCH!AVI'S GONNA PROPOSE TO KIRSTIE AND HE NEEDS OUR HELP!!"
Mitch yelled back in the background.
"HOLY HELL, I CAN'T WAIT!"
"Geez guys you don't need to yell haha. Anyway, can you guys come over to Kevin's so we can talk about it?"
"We'll be over in ten!"
"Awesome."
Kevin was laughing hysterically at their excitement through the phone. He was just as excited but not that overly expressive about it like the other two goofballs. Soon enough Scott and Mitch walk through the door and basically tackle Avi to the ground.
"We are so freaking excited!"
"Guys, guys, we need to talk about this haha."
They climbed off of Avi and sat on the couch. Avi started by saying he first needed to buy a ring and Mitch instantly said he'll help pick it out. He's good with those things. Then Avi described what he thought would be the perfect setting.
"So... does that sound good?"
"Hmmm, maybe if we all acted as your servers that night it would be a little more intimate. She wouldn't feel awkward about getting excited in front of strangers cause it would just be us."
"That's a good idea, but who will cook?"
"I got you man, I know just what I can cook up for you two."
Kevin was an excellent cook.
"This is gonna be so good, I can't wait. When are you gonna do it?"
Mitch asked
"I was thinking this Saturday night."
"Yay! We need to find a ring soon lover boy."
"Yeah..."
Avi couldn't believe this was all planned out. He was going to ask the love of his life to marry him and its going to be perfect. The next day Avi and Mitch went out to find a ring. After the third store, they found the perfect one.(pictured above.) They got the black satin box alone with it and they were on their way. It was only Friday night, so Scott, Mitch and Kevin decided to take Avi out for a bachelors party. (I know those are supposed to be before the wedding, but just go with it.)
He didn't want to get too drunk because he didn't want to have a hangover for tomorrow. It was almost 2am when they got back. Avi made it back home and found Kirstie up and sitting in the living room.
"Kirst, why are you still up?"
"Where the hell have you been! I called you 7 times and texted you but you wouldn't answer me!"
"I'm sorry babe, I went out with the guys."
"Bullshit! Where did you go?"
"I promise love, we just went to hang out for a while, just some guy time."
"You're cheating on me.."
"WHAT, I would never do that to you! I would never do that to anyone! I'm not Jeremy baby. Just ask the guys, I was with them."
"Fine, I'll call them."

"Scott, was Avi with you tonight?"
"Yeah, we just dropped him off 10 min ago, why?"
"Never mind, thanks."
She hung up and hung her head.
"I'm sorry, it's just every relationship I've had has ended badly."
"What makes you think we're ending?"
"Nothing, I don't know, I love you."
"I love you too."
They sat down and Avi let Kirstie cuddle up to his side. He had his hand on her waist and ran his fingers along her side. Kirstie let out a sigh and turned to sit on Avi's lap.
"Where are you goi-"
He was cut off with Kirstie's lips on his. She wrapped her legs behind his back and sat in his lap. They got pretty heated very quickly and soon enough they were headed for the bedroom for a night of passion. Tomorrow was going to be a good day.
