Chapter 16

Luke's POV

It's the next day and after all of our classes, I'm sitting on my bed with my face in my hands at this point.

"What's wrong man?" Mikey says as he walks in and takes a seat on his bed

"I can't get ahold of Madelyn, she wasn't at any classes today, not even dance. Which is surprising. Everytime I go to there dorm the door is locked and I knock many times but no answer. I text her, I call her, I don't.. I don't know what's going on or What to do" I say sniffling and starting to cry again

"Luke she'll be fine man.. Just give her space, she will come around." Mikey says getting off of his bed and coming over to me and he puts his hand on my back.

"Alright" I say and wipe my eyes.

"So do you want to go get pizza?" Mikey asks

"No.. I would rather just sleep.. I don't want to go anywhere right now." I sigh

"How about I go pick it up and then I'll bring it back and we can pig out on it and watch some movies. I'll even pay." Mikey says hugging me, I hug back giving in.

"Oh alright fine" I say letting go of air.

"Good! Be right back." Mikey says grabbing his car keys and wallet and dashing out of the dorm. I sigh putting my face into my hands once again.

Mikey's POV

I rush out of the dorm shoving my wallet into my pocket while I'm running, I run out to my car and stop seeing a unfamiliar looking girl standing beside my car trying to get in.

"Hm.. Um.. Excuse me.." I say walking over, she turns to me looking fusteraited and mad.

"Hi" she says blowing a piece of hair out of her face.

"Why are you trying to get into my car..?" I ask nodding to my car.

"This is my car..." She says looking back at the car that clearly is mine.

"Hate to break it to you but honey this is my car.." I say pulling out my keys and press the unlock button and we hear the car unlock.

"So that explains it...." She looks around blushing a bright red

"Goodness.." I say mentally facepalming and try not to laugh

"What's your name?" I ask the girl with green eyes standing in front of me

"Kirby.. And your's?" She smiles as her green eyes meet mine

"Mikey" I say smiling back.

"I am so sorry for all of this.. I'll be on my way" she says grabbing all of her belongings and starts rushing away

"Wait!" I call after her but it's to late. This mysterious Kirby girl was already gone. I shrug it off and get into my car and begin to drive to the pizza place but I can't get that beautiful girl out of my head.

Madelyn's POV

I lay in bed in a puddle of tears as I don't know wait time it is, what day it is, what week it is... Maybe what year it is? No probably not that extreme. I open my eyes and look around trying to squint through the tears. But I can't. I guess Crying to much can damage eye sight? Probably not. But I've been crying an unusable amount lately. I hear someone come in the door but my backs facing the door and I'm much to lazy to turn around to see who it is so I just call in hopes for it to not be a murder

"Who is it" I mumble as loud as I can and the words hit me as the first words I've said since yesterday, my voice is horse and cracking from crying and I sound dead, literally dead.

"Are you alive under all of that..?" I hear the voice of Jenny appear as I'm assuming she's walking over to me as I can hear her footsteps shuffling around.

"Guess so" I try to say a little louder but I fail.

"cmon sit up.. Talk to me.." She says sitting on the side of my bed.

"Why" I say in hopes she won't make me

"Please" she says giving me a hopeful tone. I sigh and start sitting up, as I do I get really dizzy and the whole world is spinning in my eyes

"There I'm sitting" I sigh

"Good." She says looking at me with worry full in her eyes

"Could you stop giving me that look?" I say rolling my eyes

"What look..?" She says quietly

"The same damn look your giving me right now, the one that is basically saying your terrified of me." I raise my voice a little louder not caring about the horsy-ness in it.

"I don't know what you mean.." She says

"Of course you do! Don't lie to me! does it look like you should be lying to me??" I snap at her and she sighs looking at the ground before standing up

"Don't you walk away from me!" I growl

"Calm down I'm going to go to the bathroom.." She says and walks out of the room, I look over at the little nightstand table beside me and pick up the clock, I throw it across the room and it hits the wall and falls to the ground shattering and breaking. I watch the pieces shatter like a heart being broken. I stare at it for a good 10 seconds before laying back down into the position I've been in for about 24 hours. I stare at the blank wall once more and close my eyes slowly. 

"Maybe if I just imagine this all being fake.. Then it'll actually all be fake" I mumble loud enough so only I can hear.

Mikey's POV

About a hour later I come back with a pizza and park where my car was originally parked, I step out of the car grabbing my keys and shoving them into my pocket, then I open the back door and grab the pizza and carry in inside, as I'm walking down the hall I see Kirby again

"Kirby, right?" I say approaching her

"Yeah" she laughs

"Wow I guess I'm good with names then" I grin

"What do you want Mikey?" She says

"Would you like to come eat pizza and watch movies with me and Luke my roommate?" I ask

"No thank you.. I'm good with Junk food and some bible reading" she says smiling at me and then disappearing, there is something strange about that girl, and I like it.
