Words I Never Said (Luke korns fanfic)

Chapter 1

"We have to finish bringing in all of your boxes!" My moms smile shines bright as we sit on my new college dorm room bed. I look around the small but nice sized for college room.

"I'm so excited.." I say biting my lip

"Well for Gods sake you don't seem it!" My mom kids around and hugs me, I hug her back.

"I can't believe my baby's going off to college." My mom says with tears in her eyes

"Oh mom, don't cry!" I roll my eyes.

"Sorry, sorry." She grins. We stand up from the bed and walk out the door to the elevator that takes us down to the main lobby floor and then out to the parking lot to my mom and my car, we only have 3 more boxes to take to my room so she takes one and I take the other two, we lock the doors of our cars and then back to my dorm room, were still waiting to meet my dorm roomie she still isn't here yet.

"I hope my roommate likes the same bands as me." I say as I sit the last boxes onto my floor.

"You'll be a lucky girl if she does but I think you're fantasizing, darling." My mom winks at me and sits hers on top of mine.

"Okay, okay. Maybe that's more of a dreamers dream but it may happen you never know!" I laugh and start to unpack the first box, the first thing I unpack from this box is pads, tampons, just toiletry items. So I put those into the bathroom that me and my dorm roomie have to ourselves and then I walk back over to the boxes, my mom takes the other box and starts to unpack that one.

"Hey Madelyn, look at this" my mom calls for me as she pulls out a baby picture of me and my 14 year old brother

"Oh how precious" I grin and look at it.

"I'm going to miss Charlie" I say

"Oh trust me he'll miss you too" my mom tries to make me feel better

"Um not exactly, as I remember him saying he was looking forward to having my bedroom." I say rolling my eyes.

"Oh he's not going to get your bedroom. You get to keep it for when you come home on holidays and whenever you just need to get away from campus." My mom tells me rubbing my back as I stare at the picture that was once took long ago.

"Hey mom." I say as I watch her pull things upon things out of the boxes

"How about you go back to the hotel for the night? There's only a few more things and then I'll completely be done, you can come back in the morning and say goodbye before you leave." I give her a warm smile

"oh are you sure?" My mom asks as she stops pulling things out. I nod my head and start taking some of the things from the boxes and putting them in there places.

"Oh alright.." She stands up and walks over to me embracing me in a tight hug.

"I'll miss you mom but you can always call or text me I promise I'll response I tell her as she cries. I hug her tightly.

"Still will be your best friend right?" My mom tells me as she pulls out of the hug slightly

"Of course mom" I tell her and we both smile

"Alright I'll get going now." She says grabbing her purse.

"I'll see you in the morning before you leave then?" I ask

"Of course! 9 am!" She tells me

"Can't wait" I say and watch her as she leaves the room, she closes the door and then I look at the rest of the things that I have to find a place for. Might as well get started. I take my phone and put on some pandora to work to, I put the last things into there places and make my bed all pretty and then I stand in the middle of the room not sure of what to do with my life now, I take off the music from my phone and sit on my bed pulling out my laptop and start watching some Gossip Girl on Netflix.
