Chapter 10

We pull into my moms house

"We're here are you nervous??" I grin at Luke

"A little bit" Luke laughs lightly and I can tell that 'little bit' is a very big bit.

"Hey. It'll be okay my mom and her boyfriend and my brother will love you" I say grabbing ahold of his hand

"Okay.." He starts out and I cut him off with a kiss, he kisses me back

"Come on" I laugh climbing out of the car and grabbing my suitcases for the week, he also climbs out and grabs his. We tread up to the door and I take my keys out and use my house key and unlock the door walking in and holding open the door for Luke as he walks in

"Hey mom it's Madelyn were home!!" I call out and wait for a response, there's none.

"Strange she must be out at the store or something" I say as I sit my suitcase down and so does Luke, we walk into the kitchen area and there's a note, I pick it up and read it

"Went out to store if you get here before me love you see you soon

-mom"

"Well I guess she's not here" I say showing Luke the note

"Well darn" he says

"I'll show you to the guest room, it's right by my bedroom in case you get scared at night like the little boy you are" I wink referring to a night he ended up in my dorm because of a nightmare

"Oh shut up it was once" he rolls his eyes. I laugh and grab his hand pulling him back to the main room and grabbing my suitcase and he grabs his, we make our way to the stairs quickly and 'have a race' up the stairs

"Okay so just a quick look around the second floor, this is my moms room, my brother Charlie's room, the main bathroom on this floor, then when you go back this hall you have my room, the guest bedroom, and in between our bedrooms is the bathroom that used to be mine but now it's just a guest/ still mine" I say laughing out of breath.

"Nice" he laughs

"Yeah so right in here mr. Korns" I say laughing and holding open the guest room door, he walks inside and sits his suitcase down and looks around

"Nice paint color" he laughs at the purple and pink

"It used to be my older sisters room until she moved out" I smile

"Let me guess is your bedroom gold and sparkles?" Luke jokes around I fake gasp and hold my heart for drama

"Actually no it's more 'sophisticated'" I grin

"Can I see it?" He grins back

"Right this way through the bathroom of doom dun dun dunnnn" I say and can't help but crack up laughing as I wiggle my eyebrows, we walk through the bathroom that conjoins the two bedrooms into my bedroom

"Wow" he says looking around

"Kinda empty but I love it I spent most of my high school days right here in this room" I say laughing as I flop onto the bed, he walks over to the window and sits on the window seat looking out into the back yard

"You have horses??" He gasps as he sees stables and horses in a field

"Hell yeah there my babies" I smile

"Don't you miss them?? If I were you that's the first thing I would've saw!" He says in fascination

"Eh I'll see them later" I smile at his dorkiness.

"Do you wanna see if Charlie's home? He's 14 and I think you two would get along" I say standing up off of my bed.

"Sure" he smiles and stands up from where he was previously sitting.
