Diana

Caine gently placed me on the bed and was quick to remove his shirt. We wasted no time in passionately kissing, he slowly made his way down, kissing my neck and soon was right in the valley of the breasts.

I let out a breathy moan. Caine tugged on my shirt and I nodded approvingly. I was now left in a black lacy bra and jeans. He moved back to my lips and I subconsciously tangled my hands through his hair, tugging and pulling at it.

Be broke apart and looked each other in the eyes, both of us panting as our breathes mixed with one another.

I let out a small scream as I heard glass shatter. Caine was quick to cover me. The window was broken. Caine passed me my t-shirt and instructed me to stay in bed.

Caine made his way over to the window to examine it.

"Be careful." I said loud enough for him to hear.

He nodded his head, not speaking a word. His back muscles were tense, what am I saying, his whole body was tense, I could sense it.

"It's a rock." Caine spoke.

"What? Just a rock?" I asked dumbfounded.

"Just a bloody rock." He growled angrily. I carefully got out of bed and made my way to the glass.

Just as I was about to approach him he turned around so fast, I wonder how he didn't get whiplash.

"I told you to stay in bed." He growled, just inches away from my face. I flinched a little at his tone. His face softened a little watching me flinch. "Diana-."

"It's fine. I'm just going to go to the kitchen and get a drink. I uh.. I'll see you there I guess." I stuttered.

He sighed defeated and nodded, before turning his back on me and continuing the examination.

Could it really be just a rock? There has to be something more to it. Some sort of significance to it, someone wouldn't just throw a rock into the alpha's penthouse.

"Diana." I heard Caine.

"Mhm.." I hummed in response.

"I'm sorry love." He said sitting next to me on the couch.

"It's ok, I know your stressed." I gave him a small smile and pecked his lips. "But uh, can I just see the rock please?"

He looked sceptically at me but handed the rock to me anyway. I mumbled a thank you as I looked at the rock looking for something significant.

My eyes widened in realisation. "It can't be." I whispered.

Caine jumped in surprise and looked at me questioningly. "Diana? What is it baby?"

"This rock, it was o-ours. Ours meaning David, Daniel, Cole and I's. Last I remember Cole had this rock. Caine he could be here." I spoke.

I pulled out my phone and dialled Cole's number. Several rings later, he answered.

"Dearest sister." He breathed.

"C-Cole the window, I mean the rock. Was it you?" I asked/

"Of course, after all I did take it with me." He spoke humorously. "Now let me into the territory I'm right outside the border and frankly I want to see my baby sister."

"Of course, right away. I guess I'll see you soon." I spoke quickly and ended the call.

I turned to face Caine. "He's here." A smile broke on my face, and it never left.

...........

I anxiously awaited the arrival of my dear brother. Caine had sent Jace and Adrian to escort my brother to our penthouse. I fiddled with my fingers in nervousness. Caine rubbed my back soothingly.

"Everything will be fine Diana." He assured me.

"W-what if he no longer sees' me as his 'baby sister' anymore? What if he doesn't accept me now?" I whispered.

"Be optimistic Diana. Besides he has no reason not to like you. He knows the truth, and believe me when I say I will not let anything happen to you. No one will ever break you again, I'll be dammed if anything happens." He finished. By the end Caine had cupped my face and was leaning into kiss me. I closed my eyes and awaited his lips to touch mine.

The ding of the elevator went off, interrupting our moment. Caine growled lowly and kissed my forehead before standing up and giving me his hand as he helped me up. Realisation was late to hit me, but it did.

Shit.

He's here.

"Get your hands of me man. I'm a big boy and don't need to be dragged." I heard someone say. He's voice is so much deeper.

I heard another growl before I saw three built figures emerging from behind the white wall.

Caine squeezed my hand reassuringly but my eyes never left Coles. We both stood there staring at one another.

"Diana." Cole's voice was barely above a whisper.

"Cole." I breathed back before taking a few steps forward.

I was soon pulled into a bone crushing hug. I instantly wrapped my arms around Cole. "I missed you so much." He whispered.

"I missed you so much more!" I replied pulling away ever so slightly.

"I love you sis, don't ever forget it." He said placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Never did, never will." I chuckled lowly.

I turned around and saw Caine had an emotionless look. I grabbed Cole's hand and dragged him to stand in front of Caine. I wrapped an arm around Caine's torso and looked at his face.

His face was hard as stone, he eyed Cole closely.

"Caine this is my brother Cole. Cole this is my mate Caine."

"Nice to meet you man." Cole spoke putting out a hand for Caine to shake. Caine just stood there behaving hostile.

Cole awkwardly put his hand away.

"Diana is this really your brother?" Caine asked.

"Excuse me?" I asked pulling away from him, clearly confused.

"Is he really your brother? As in Cole Everborn?" He repeated.

"I mean obviously." I replied, kind of annoyed.

Caine's eye's left mine and looked at Cole.

"And you're sure that this isn't Cole Steele?" He asked looking back at me.

Cole Steele?
