Diana

My favourite brother, isn't really my brother.

My real brothers, well.. aren't my brothers either.

Only real and true thing in my life right now is Caine. Even then, it feels too good to be true. WIth Cole being here with the proof, to finally having someone love me and not physically hurt me. Something's going to go wrong. An unsettling feeling in my gut tells me so.

I hope that at least Cole and Caine's - well over-due - conversation is going better.

'Diana, come to my office please love.' Caine said through our link.

As I made my way to Caine's study, I was greeted by many pack members. I felt someone pull at my leg, I looked down to see the cutest little boy. I picked him up and rested him on my hip.

"Hi Luna! I'm James. I'm 5." He said grinning widely and holding up his hand to indicate the fact that he's five.

"Hi James, I'm Diana." I said tickling his stomach slightly. He laughed as he tried pushing my hand away.

"Your name is so pretty." His cheeks turning a shade of pink, as he sunk into the crook of my neck.

My heart, aw. What a precious boy.

"James, ther you are." A lady who looked like she was in her mid to late 20s said. "I have been looking for you Mr." She then noticed me standing there and acknowldged me. "Oh, Luna. So sorry about James, he's jsut very fond of you. He see's you around and well practially loves you." She said chuckling.

"He's so precious. Is he your son?" I asked.

"He certainly is."

"Luna, will you play with me please?" He asked looking at his mum, then at me.

"James, I would be honored to. I have some work with the Alpha now. But once I'm done, shall I come and find you?" I asked, as he nodded eagerly. "And where will you be James?"

"I will be in the kicthen, because food. Or I'll be in the play room with all the other kids."

"I will see you then James." I gave James to his mum, said my goodbyes to her and made my way to Caine's office.

I knocked on the door, and entered when I heard Caine's voice.

"What took you so long Di?" Cole asked.

"I ran into the cutest little boy. And we were making plans." I replied smiling.

"You're a perfect Luna, my love." Caine said smiling at me. I smiled back and felt my cheeks heat up.

"Can we get down to business now?" Cole suggested.

"Right. Cole do you have the tape?" Caine asked.

"Right here." Cole held up the tape and threw it at Caine who was sitting at his desk. Caome caught the SD card, and pushed it into his laptop. Whilst I sat myself down next to Cole on the couch.

"So, did you two talk?" I asked the inevitable question.

"We sure did, didn't we dear brother." Cole said smuggly, looking at Caine who was concetrating on the tape.

"Shut up." Caine growled. Huh, guess it went well.

I heard the noice from of clip playing, and I suddenly felt insecure and unsettled. Caine watched the tape intently. His body shaking from anger. Why is he so angry?

"I can't believe he held the gun at your temple." He growled. Guess that's why.

I stood up from the couch and made my way to Caine's desk. "Ok, that's enough." I said, closing the laptop.

"Di-" Caine began. I however, cut him off. Not wanting to hear what he had to say.

"So how are we going to go about showing the tape to them?" I asked.

"I can go." Cole began. "As in, I'll go to the pack house, make a grand enterance and all." Caine growled and told Cole to be serious abou the situation, to which Cole rolled his eyes. Ahh, brotherly love.

"So, as I was saying - before I was rudely interuppted." Cole said looking at Caine. "I go there, and talk to them about the reasons as to why I left, I ask where you are, and see what they say. Then I can show them the tape and clear your name. Then we can embark on a journey to 'find' you, so that they can apologise."

"That's not a bad idea. With a few minor modification, we can make it work." Caine said.

"Hell no. That is dangerous. Cole, they could kill you. They're heartless cold blooded killers now." I protested. I wasn't about to send my best friend to get killed.

"Diana, I will be fine. They trust me still. They just want answers, and we can plan every minor detail her. Caine is smart, he will know how to plan this out to perfection and we can access the risks, and find ways to eliminate them. Nothing will happen to me, I promise." Cole spoke confidently.

"Even so, promises are made to be broken Cole." I sighed, compeletly conflicted.

"Di, what other way is there? I can ensure the safety of Cole. He'll go with some of my best men, and I'll have other men scattered around their territory with masked scents, in case hell breaks loose. We can plan this to perfection, and it could actually work."

I knew Caine knew how to plan this entire thing out, but there is always going to be doubt. I can't help that. But we have to try.

"Fine. But, I want to stand around the territory, in case hell breaks loose. I want to be there, to help." I said.

"Absolutley not." Caine and Cole said simultaneously.

My blood boiled. My wolf took control.

"I AM THE DESCENDANT OF THE MOOD GODDESS. You will not tell me, Arabella, what to do." I.. She.. Arabella growled.

Descendant of the Mood Goddess? Me? Rather, Arabella? Us?
