Caine's Love

Chapter 1.

Diana

Death.

Am I scared of it? No.

I would willingly give myself up to Daniel and David. But if I did, then I'd be giving up on my parents, after all my parents died for me.

It's disgusting what I see in the mirror.

A girl with platinum blond hair, and light to dark brown roots. Her once bright blue eyes, are now lifeless; they haven't showed any emotion since that one day where everyone Diana loved.. left. Her prominent cheekbones just made her look ugly and disgusting.

People fear me, they don't know my next move, for all they know I could wipe every single one of them out.

Daniel and David won't rest until they find me and kill me. I get it, I killed our parents, but did they want to hear what really happened that afternoon? Of course not.

I pushed all my thoughts to the back of my mind and exited the small service station bathroom. I stepped out and once again nothing to be seen besides the station itself. I took off into the woods, once I was deep enough and was sure no one would see me, I shifted into my jet black wolf and sprinted off.

I ran as fast as my four paws could take me, the wind brushed my hair back as I bolted like my life depended on it.. Well it kind of did.

My legs paws ached. I shifted back to human and was now butt naked. I spotted some animals running together and decided to run with them. I used my human legs to catch up, with 4 years practice of running it comes easily now.

I've always had a thing for animals, how different they look yet how many similarities they have in the mind.

It makes sense that I love animals, considering my name is Diana, it's a roman goddesses name, and of course the roman goddess was the goddess of hunting and wild animals. My name means 'heavenly divine.' It's a piece I have of my parents, I remember them telling me that it took 5 weeks after I was born to decide a name.

It's may not seem like much, but to me it means everything. They wanted to pick the perfect name. Thinking about it bought a smile to my face.

I once again had to push my thoughts to the back of my mind, I shifted into my wolf when I heard paws thudding on the ground.

After being beaten to the point of death for the past 4 years, and that too by my brothers, I've learnt not to show any fear.

I stood my ground waiting for whoever was to arrive.

3 large wolves stepped out from behind trees. The middle looked to be the alpha, he was the largest wolf and he had a powerful aura around him.

The one on the right: beta, I could see the aura that I see around myself on him. On the left was the gamma, he was only about 1 or 2 inches shorter then the beta.

They all shifted back into human and pulled on a pair of shorts. My red wolf eyes landed on the alpha, everything about him was perfect, he looked like a greek god. Hotter then hell itself. I felt attracted to him, but couldn't quite figure out why.

"SHIFT ROUGE." The alpha boomed.

I did as I was told, not giving a flying fuck that I was naked in front of 3 very attractive men.

I met the eyes of the alpha and suddenly it felt like we were the only two in the world. 'Mate.' We both whispered at once.

He broke the gaze as he growled menacingly at the fact that I was naked in front of his beta, and gamma.

"Jace, John turn around NOW!" My mate roared out. Jace who I'm guessing is the beta, and John the gamma turned around so fast, I'm surprised they didn't get whiplash.

All my life I never thought I'd meet my mate. I didn't really want to either.

The alpha handed me a oversized grey shirt, which I used to cover my bare body. It went up to about mid-thigh.

"What's your name princess?" His minty breathe fanning over my face.

"Diana..." I was debating whether I should tell him my last name or not, I mean if I did he would know I was the girl who killed my parents, every pack knows but of course there is plenty of Diana's in the world.

"Diana what?" He said cocking a brow, might I add.. perfectly.

"Just Diana." I said calmly. I've never been sacred of speaking to alpha's, the way I see it, if you live life scared then you're not really living life.

"I'm Alpha Caine Steele, and I hope you realise princess you are in the Blood Moon's territory." Blood Moon only the strongest pack in the world. In all it's history, no pack has ever defeated the Blood Moon pack; it's been around for generations upon generations.

"Well then I guess I'll be on my way out." I said masking any emotion that may show on my face.

"Princess, we're mates. You will NEVER and I mean NEVER leave me." He said smirking cockily.

"You're one of those players right? The ones who have slept with every walking female." I questioned.

"I'm a virgin darling. And I hope you saved yourself too." He replied smartly. Although I was impressed that he'd managed to save himself. But there goes that theory, wonder where he gets his cockiness from.

"Jace, John get back to the pack house I'll bring my mate back." Caine ordered.

"This mate has a name." I spat the word mate.

"You may be my mate but I am an alpha you will respect me." Caine growled.

"But you're not my alpha. I'm a rouge." I challenged, as stupid as it sounds I want to get on Caine's bad side, so that he'll reject me and I'll be free. I need to keep moving otherwise my brothers will find me. However I have to do it without Caine finding out anything.

"You will be my Luna and this packs luna, so you will be apart of this pack."

"I am not joining your pack, forget it. Neither am I being your luna." I scoffed.

Maybe if things were different and I wasn't wanted by my brothers then I would accept my destiny and become the luna. But once an alpha in the area has found there mate, every pack in the country hears about it. I know for sure my brothers would come here for me. I want to be with Caine, but it's impossible.

I could confess to Caine, that I am Diana Everborn; the girl who killed her own parents. But everything inside me screamed no. I didn't want him to know, I didn't want him to see me as a murderer.

I didn't want anyone to see me as a murderer for that matter.
