Chapter 27

Sometimes I ask myself what would've happened if I would've been born in another family in another world. Would I be black ? would I be a racer ? Would I ever had met Connor ?

And now that I've come to think of it, I really miss Connor ...

' Take the blindfold off douche bag. ' Someone said, well not just someone, it was Riley. No wonder he's after this ... I mean, he's always planning something, trying to make others miserable. And now that I come to think of it... I did know he was up to something ... I heard something when I was out running in their hiding place ... wait a sec. I bet that in some unexplainable way they must've kidnapped me and brought me somewhere. ... maybe a hiding place ?

Seriously ?

The blindfold came off and right in front of me stood the devil himself. Riley Hogget, the most annoying, childish little brat I've ever known. He goes to enormous ends to get what he wants and that pisses me off because he doesn't care who he ruins along the way. And that's so dangerous about him, once he has an idea in his mind, he won't stop until it's done.

' Welcome my lady.' He said smirking, ' I want you to meet everyone here... there's Nicole-'

I interrupted him ' I know your crew Riley. ' I said as straight as possible. I can show no fear. Not that I'm afraid, more like curious. Curious to how he managed to get me here and why. He can't force me to join his gang right ...? And I'd rather die than give him the garage.

' Someone's touchy right ? ' He sing-said to his crew. Immature.

'What is going on here ?' I asked, finally. The burning question is finally out. And maybe I should ask about the person in the room I was ? Or would that be too much ...

' Well my dear, your great friend had brought us you. Just like that. It's quite the story actually! Do you want to hear it ?' He asked and before I could even open my mouth to answer, he already started to tell his story. Which I didn't really mind.

' Well I was just enjoying a nice wild number in my room when your dear friend calls me saying he has you knocked out in the back of his car. Of course, who am I to deny the offer to meet him? I can't be that cruel to just leave you there now wouldn't I? Well after sorting some things out with him I agreed to take care of you. And of course I am so kind to keep you here, in my lovely home. Am I not the greatest guy on earth for freeing you from him? ' by now the rest of the crew came to listen to him. But the thing I am wondering is, who's the traitor ? Because all I can remember is being extremely mad and going to the garage. After that, blank.

' freeing me from who ? No one I know really well would betray me like that.' Or so I hope. The only one I can think of that I'm not big buds with anymore is Jake, but he would never do something like this. Would he?

But before I could even think it through a new demon in my life came into view.

Jake.

How could he? I thought he'd be more of a friend... even when nothing's right he should've had my back.

' You backstabbing little prick!' I sneered when he came into view. I'm flabbergasted.

' Hello, babe. I'm sorry? But did I offend you?' He asked with a poisoned tongue full of sarcasm.

' How could you? ' I asked. There really was no point in asking something else. There's nothing else I want to know. There wasn't anything else to say or to do that would make any difference in the situation.

' You broke me,' he said, ' you betrayed me by taking a liking to Connor. So I decided to destroy your life. Just like you ruined mine. ' His motive could be considered plausible if he wasn't completely insane. How could I not have seen this coming ? It was quite impossible but still... he was acting weird lately, I should've been more careful...

In the meantime Riley was getting livid on the phone, everyone seemed to be involved. Quite funny actually, it was like a madhouse. Everyone was on their phone shouting or typing away.

This was my chance to try to break the rope with whom my hands were tied. The side of a chair is not really effective ...

' Get her out!' Riley ordered before I hopelessly tried to break myself free. Someone behind me lifted me up and blindfolded me again. I don't know who it was but he surely couldn't keep his hands to himself. I actually tried to kick him but he pushed me with my face against the wall instead. His body was pressed against mine, and unfortunately his little one aswell .... Prominent.

' You know, I could free you from this misery.' He whispered' We could run away together.'

I just reminded what happened... that jealous bastard!

' You're the one who got me in this mess in the first place ...' I spat at him. And if I wouldn't have been tied up he would've been dead by now.

' That's where you're wrong babe. This is all your fault, we could've been happy and made beautiful babies. But you doomed yourself by choosing Connor over me. So all of this could've been prevented by saying yes to me.' He truly is sick, and brainwashed. He of all people ... he's the one I trusted the most next to Gabe... this is not right. But it was the truth.... But when his hands were travelling towards my boobs I smacked my head against his making both of us fall down. We had a little chase but eventually he caught me ...

He took my hands and pulled me up by my hair, and let me tell you, it's not very pleasant.

' Don't you run away little bird' He sang in my ear while bringing me to some room. Probably the same room ...

The door shut and I was trapped with a voice whispering

' So, you're back again ..'
