Chapter 25

SKYLAR

He .. loves me? But that's almost impossible, he's been like a brother to me since ... well yeah, since forever. He really is nothing more than a brother... but what should I say? I mean I can't be rude to him because I can't hurt him. And I don't want to start anything with him because I really don't have any feelings for him.

That indeed explains why he's been so distant lately, maybe he wanted his feelings to go away or something like that. Why else would you completely ignore someone for 2 months? I mean come on, it makes no sense at all !!

' I'm .. not completely sure I understand. ' I said. It's the only thing I could actually say. It's true though, I don't understand. I don't understand why I haven't noticed, I don't understand why I only see him as a brother because he's a great guy, I don't understand why I don't even feel bad, that I'm not even into him a little bit.

' What don't you understand, there's not much to it actually ... I confessed my feelings and I hope they're mutual but I don't think so. But if they are, ... I'd like to ask you on a date. ' Date ? Wow dude you're moving way too fast. You don't even know that I'm actually not into you at all.

' Wow hold on... I'm really sorry Jake but I'm not into you in that way ... don't get me wrong, I love you. but like a brother ... ' I told him.

I have never felt such rage within me. Why the heck would she choose Connor over me. I mean, I've known her for such a long time, we've been through so much together and she just fucked everything up. I can never be friends with her again. I mean ... that would be too awkward.

I checked on the boys, they were working with loud music on to give us privacy which I appreciated to most at the moment, this was my ultimate chance to leave. They didn't see me hitting Skylar unconscious. There's nothing that can stop me now. Taking her by her legs, I dragged her out the back right into the trunk of my car. My parents weren't home at the moment and so I had a few hours. After taking her to the basement, I strapped her to the table with a cloth in her mouth so she couldn't scream.
