CONNOR's POV

** this chapter goes back to the moment where she found out about the kiss and went to the garage after. Then she got kidnapped and dragged away by Jake. Connor is still at school at the moment**

I still can't believe Tiffany just kissed me like that. I told her very clearly that what we never had was over.

' But why? Don't you want to be with the most popular girl in school? I'm everything you ever dreamed of and more? Why would you throw that all away for some lying whore ? ' Uhm conceited much ?

' Stop trying to kiss me without my permission! I don't like you, I never did and I never will! ' I almost screamed at her. She should learn that not every guy in this school want to be with her. Frankly I don't get why anyone would want to be with her, she kind of opens her legs for anything that breathes.

' But I'm tiffany.. come on? Are you really going to throw us all away?' She held onto to my arm tightly.

' No, clearly you can't understand that i.don't.like.you ! ' I shouted for real this time.

' Just back off will you..' I said before I left. School has already been over for like an hour. And I want to go explain Skylar that that kiss meant nothing. Actually I wish it would've been Skylar who kissed me ...

Though I still can't see why she'd actually believe I would willingly kiss Tiffany. I get that it didn't seem hard to believe because we had dated for a while. But what she didn't know is that it wasn't real. Tiffany made it seem real to the outside. I need to go to the garage, she needed to let me explain, I needed her to listen to me because frankly I didn't want to lose something that hadn't even had the chance to develop yet.

I thought about what I was going to say to her while walking out of the school doors. There's no way she would let me explain easily...

I arrived at the garage and saw her bike so she had to be here. She can't slip out of this conversation. I don't know why but I really want to be friends with her, but not the normal kind of friends. The really good kind of friends, the kind who she tells everything to. I'm just so drawn to her ...

' Hey guys, ' I said to Justin and Ryan, ' have you seen Skylar? ' I looked around and didn't see her.

' She's in the back with Jake but if I were you, I wouldn't go there right away.' He laughed.

' but it's important!!' I said while walking to the back. I needed to talk to her but just when I was about to open the door when Ryan stopped me. ' I really wouldn't do that. Jake is actually in love with her and he's telling her right now. '

Ah come on !! This can't be! I fuck up once and I don't even get the chance to defend myself while in the meantime she's being swept away right from under my nose. He had his chance for several years. It's my turn to win her over now. I'm not letting this happen ! I've actually never met someone quite like her and I have this really weird feeling with her. I'm so drawn to her!! She deserves the best and only the best, someone who can treat her like a princess.

Wow where did that come from?

Realization dawned on me that to me, she was more than a coo girl I want to hang out with after school. She's more than the strongest girl in town,

I think ..

I may feel something for her..

I really need to stop Jake ...

' More reason for me to get in that room.' I told him pushing away the door..

' Guys, ' I called out, ' There's no one here, are you sure they want to the back room ?' Come on, I really needed to find her and explain to her that the kiss was not intentionally ... I decided to call her, she always picks up her phone.

'You reached the number of Skylar Callaway, she is unavailable at the moment. Please call back or leave a message after the beep'

Beep

Damn Jake must've really gotten to her. ' Don't worry man, she probably just wants to be alone... She's with Jake so don't worry ...' Ryan patted my back. I didn't want to be comforted.. I wanted Skylar ... I don't trust that guy ... first he doesn't look at Skylar and goes on with other girls and now he wants her?

' What's with the long face Connor?' Ryan asked me. ' Let me guess, it has something to do with a certain blonde ?' He asked with a grin. I didn't really have to say anything ...

'Let's be girly and talk about it over some FIFA games?' He asked me while walking to the controllers.

Maybe I do need to get her off my mind ...?

After some games of FIFA and portal the question I hoped he'd forget came.

' So tell me, what's up between you and Sky?' Just when I'd gotten her a little off my mind.

' Nothing much really... she just seems like this really great girl ... she's just ... I don't know, I just want to be a great friend to her.' I said looking at a black TV screen.

' Or do you want more? Come on Connor, I can read it off your face!!' He poked my side.

' Maybe a little, but since that spot is gone ... ' I may have left out some bits and parts... like how I feel like I'm on cloud nine when I'm with her, or the longing I feel to be with her, ... to hold her...

' I just don't want her to be with Jake.' I said moving my fingers in a circular motion towards each other to pass time. I really sound like a jealous boyfriend right now ... I just don't want to sit here sulking while she's out there kissing Jake ..

' I have to go ... ' I told Ryan, escaping more questions about Skylar. I need to get my mind off her ...

And I know just the person who can do that ...
