Honestly this is taking piss. I'm at school and I'm trying to find my physics class but it's hopeless, I've gone everywhere.
I turn around and accidentally bump into someone making them hold me up.
"Oh Crap. Sorry" I say then look up. It's the boy.
"Sorry" he says then looks at me.
I don't know why but he doesn't stop looking at me and it's making me uncomfortable. I try and escape his hold and snap my fingers in front if his face making him blink.

"You were staring" I state.
He frowns as I stand up properly.
"No I wasn't, you had something near your eyes"
I quirk an eyebrow.
"You actually think that's going to work?"
He shrugs.

I shuffle my feet awkwardly. I want to ask him for help but I don't exactly like asking people for help. He walks around me and continues walking.
"Wait!" I call, he stops and turns looking confused.
"Erm, could you maybe help me" I ask.
"With what" he raises his eyebrows. "I can't find my class"
I give him my timetable, he looks at it as if he's forming some sort of plan.
"Sorry, I don't know where that is"
"Liar!" I sneer.
He shrugs and walks away.
Urghhh, now what am I going to do?
"Need help?" I hear.
It's the girl that called me cool.
"Kinda" I mumble.
I hand her my sheet and she smiles.
"I'm at the same class, we can go together" she smiles and I nod.

"So, how's the school days going?" She tries to make conversation.
"You mean the one and a half days I've been here. Pretty crap"
She chuckles.
"Why?"
"I don't know, the lessons I guess are alright but the people here are just. Too frightened" I confess.
She looks at me pitifully.
"Why are you looking like that?"
"Trying to empathise" she grins.
"Don't bother, please" I shake my head.

We arrive at the classroom and I notice the boy sat at the back. I wanted to sit there!
"You're such a liar!" I shout.
"And you're sat in my seat!"
He smirks while I narrow my eyes at him.
"Miss Ali, if you could take a seat I would like to start this lesson"
I clench my jaw and turn to face the teacher. The man looks old, he has a white beard and small round glasses. So much for first impressions.

"You can start the lesson with me standing up, why do I need to sit down for it to begin?" I ask but nevertheless I sit down at the back near the boy who's grinning like a kid on Eid day. Yes, I have celebrated Eid before, Chief has a nephew and I actually saw him on Eid day.
"Sitting down shows you are ready to learn and everyone is listening which allows me to teach"
I raise an eyebrow at him in disbelief and move my eyes to the pair of girls whispering and giggling at the front corner. He follows my eyes and walks up to the girls and clears his throat rather loudly. The girls flush red from embarrassment.
"Guess that proves your theory wrong doesn't it?" I smirk. Instead of the teacher getting angry or anything he shows a small smile almost as if he's pleased with my remarks.
"We're going to start the lesson with a test" he announces and almost on cue everyone groans.
"Zayna, I understand you haven't done what we have so just try your best and we'll see the areas we have to improve on"
He hands me a test paper and I nod. It was surprisingly easy.
The timer goes off indicating the end of our test.
"Pass your papers to the front and off you go"
I do as he says and walk out of the door only to be stopped by a certain giddy voice.
"You don't seem to leave me alone" "I know, it's just, I want to be friends with you and I know you're a tough nut to crack but I'm cool with that"
"So the fact that I'm a criminal doesn't scare you away?"
"If it did, would I be talking to you? Plus it's not like you're going to murder me" she laughs but after seeing my straight face she stops.
"You aren't going to murder me are you?" She says cautiously.
"I don't know. It depends"
"On what?"
"Whether or not you get me angry" I shrug. Obviously I'm not going to kill the girl but it's fun messing with people. The girls eyes widen.
"Chill out, I'm kidding" I try to console.
Her frightened face is replaced with a happy one.
"So what do you have next?"
"Maths"
"Same"
I nod.
