It's been four days since I've had that talk with Chief and I'm still unsure on how to do this.
I pray for help from my Lord in hope of being able to do this. I grab my bag and head downstairs.

Ibrahim is sat down on the table.
"Alright, I got the breakfast but we still have to half"
"I don't get why you do this"
"I do" he smiles cheekily.
I roll my eyes but start eating.

They come downstairs and sit down with us. None of us speaking a word.
"Come on Ibrahim, let's go" I say once I'm done.
"I'm not finished yet" he says.
"Alright" I roll my eyes and wait for him.
"Why are you two sharing your food, there's enough for both of you" the lady says. I don't say anything but notice how the man glances over.
"We share because we wanna" Ibrahim says quietly.
No one says anything in response to that.

Once Ibrahim is done I walk out with him but trip over the stairs.
"Ow!" I say out loud.
"Affa! Are you ok?" Ibrahim asks me.
The man and woman surround us.
"No! I think I did something to my ankle" I say while holding it.
"Ow! It really hurts"

"Zayna" The man says in a mere whisper but I ignore him.
"Ow" I whimper.
"Let's see if you can get up" Ibrahim says. I try and get up but can't since it hurts so much.
"I- I can't. It hurts too much"
I see the man on the phone and then he rushes over to me.
"We need to get you to your room" he says.
I don't say anything, I avoid his gaze but nod.
"Ibrahim help me" I say, my voice laced with hurt and pain.
Ibrahim nods and rushes to my side

"Could you help me to my room?" I ask him when he's near enough. I'm not letting the man touch me.
"Sure" he says. He puts my arm around his shoulder then helps me up the stairs.

Once I'm in my room, he helps me to my bed.
"Thanks" I say
"Is it hurting a lot? How did it happen? Why don't you watch where you're go-" he asks in concern before I interrupt him.
"I'll be fine, it's probably just a small sprain" I try and reassure.
He nods then walks out after telling me to take care.

A few minutes later the man comes in my room with another man.
"Zayna, the doctor is here to give you a check up. If that's ok?" He asks.
I nod.

After the check up and me screaming in pain everytime he touched my ankle the doctor speaks.
"She needs bed rest for a couple of days. Her ankle is twisted badly causing a deep sprain, I'll prescribe some medicines which should reduce her pain. If it gets any worse after two to three days then call me"
"Ok, thank you doctor" the man says before they both leave the room.

The man comes back in.
"I know you're very angry at me at the moment and you hate me a lot but can you just forget that for a second and let me help you get better" he says cautiously while staying next to the door.

"You know everything about me" I start "I don't get why you still treat me as a kid when you know I'm more mature than this. I know what to do and when to do it. I'm allowing you to help me because I know I need some help and considering you're the only one here I don't have a choice do I?"

He shows a faint smile and nods. He turns to leave.
"Dad!" I call. His head snaps to me so fast as he looks at me in shock.
I quickly regain myself.
"I mean. Mr Ali" I correct myself.
The shock is still evident on his face but it's lessened and is replaced with something else.
"I just erm. I want my phone, it's in my school bag" I say without looking at him.
"I'll get it for you" he says.

He leaves the room and comes back with my bag, he hands me my phone and then leaves again after putting the bag on the sofa and fixing it. I find it strange that he's doing all this, I mean 10 years ago it wasn't like this. Shaking my head from the thoughts I quickly text Daniel.
