of hatred

It was a simple world
less about them, more about me
I did not bother them
nor they did me.

from whom I loved
to what I wore
how I prayed
no one cared, I'm sure.

but times did change
for the better they had said
but this is not what I see
for in every heart, hatred is bred.

'don't stand next to me
I don't like the colour of your skin'
'as long as you stay away from me,
who ever heard of a man who wears pink?'

'are you oppressed little girl
or is your hijab hiding a ticking bomb?'
'atleast I have clothes to wear,
you shameless whore.'

'get away from me you faggot
I don't want to catch what you have'
'go back to your country then wetback,
you're on my land.'

It's not a simple world anymore
less about me, more about them
they judge me too much
and I judge them.

from whom they love,
to what they wear
I have an opinion for all
and lots to hate
