I pulled my laptop out searching for bigger apartments and unfortunately I had no luck. I seen Leah bite her lip and wheel herself over to the table I sat at.

"Get a beach house, I will split it with you"

"Hey I will too!"
Cameron broke her stare from her laptop.

I stared at the price of one of the luxurious beach houses and called the realtor for more information. After several minutes of talking an appointment was set for next Friday, two days after our birthday. We'd literally have to fly from New York to the appointment, but it was worth it.

After traveling through California we pulled up at my apartment, I haven't been here in over a week and it was great to see it. We all walked sluggishly to the elevator stretching our legs, we had to squeeze everyone in so Leah could get her wheelchair inside, which caused laughter to fill through the elevator and the receptionist couldn't help but smirk and hide a laugh.

Reagan had pressed her whole body against mine and we were chest to chest while we waited for the elevator to open. And within seconds it opened and we piled out.

"Home sweet home"
I called down the hall, Reagan held my hand while I unlocked the steel door and my lifeless apartment was now in view, everything exactly how we'd left it.

"Oh it's cute"
Leah laughed as she wheeled her wheelchair into the living room.

"Yeah, and soon we will be moving"

Reagan came over to me kissing my cheek softly.
"I'm gonna go check on my grandparents"

I smiled taking her hand and leading her to the door.
"Thanks for coming with me, you and Georgia"

She smiled nodding as her sister came up beside us holding her duffel bag on her shoulder.
"I'll text you okay"

I nodded at her sister, somehow it felt weird for her to have my phone number, but we'd be hanging out by ourselves soon so I could help her and Reagan get her dad to a place where he can get himself better.

I closed the door behind them and turned back to the crowd of people in my living room, Cameron was comfortably laying on the couch an Kyle was opening up the sliding glass door to the balcony to air the place out.

"So, you'll have the couch to sleep on till we move, if that's cool"
I walked up behind Leah an leaned down next to her. She nodded and smiled
"I want to see the house"

I handed her the pair of crutches as she stood, she wore a grey hoodie that had Copeland on the back of it , it was like a sports hoodie , an I knew it was probably ballet.

"In here"
I held up the sheet smiling.

It was exactly how I left it, an soon I'd be in here painting one of the pieces I sketched on the camping trip.

"This room?"
She pointed to my madness room.

"It's where all my useless paintings go, the ones that the public eye won't see"

"Why?"
She questioned.

"There uninteresting, or to personal"

"Those are the best kinds, the ones that nobody understands but thinks of every theory but the right theory"

I shrugged.
"I gotta clean it out, I'm doing my room an studio an the movers can get the rest"

"I've got to take a trip to Paris to get my stuff"
Leah turned on her heel leaning with the crutches.

"After we move , cause I'd like to go with you"
I smiled shyly, inside I hoped she would let me tag along with her.

Leah smiled and leaned against the wall and lifted her shoulders from her crutches.
"I'd like that"
