(Two months later)
"Hey Katie"
Georgia sat next to me in the library.Reagan was selling her books and trying to get her literature out there so Georgia and I were basically stuck with each other supporting her as she went from mall to mall and every library she knew.
"Yeah?"
I glanced at her."How did you realize you were gay?"
She was playing with her hands as she stared at the floor.I took a deep breath and thought back to middle school and elementary school.
"I was homeschooled throughout school, all I had was my teachers, those were the only people I talked too"
I sat up in my seat and focused on my story."But in middle school When your going crazy and your trying to figure out what's going on with yourself, everyone's getting boyfriends and I never could find a boy that interested me"
I licked my lips, tucking my hair behind my ear."And I went to this art school with actual people and there were these girls, the first girl I ever done anything with, the way she held my hand, and the way she kissed me it just felt perfect, like it was meant to be that way"
"We were both confused the girl an I, she got a boyfriend to fix her problems and I just put the puzzle together, from everything, having no emotional attachments to guys, how she made me feel, that summer I realized I was gay"
I glanced up seeing Reagan smiling happily to herself
"And when I met your sister, I already knew, no confusion, no stalling or breaks where we were confused, it went smooth and sweet"Georgia stared off into space.
"Can I tell you something?"I nodded
"Of course""I've had a secret relationship for five months now and I'm so scared because I think I'm falling for them"
I smiled and stared down at my feet.
"Georgia, just let it happen, fall in love as much as you can, it makes the heart grow fonder""Make sure you love who they are on the inside though, cause at 3 in the morning, when your wide awake thinking of them you'll think of there smile, the sound of there voice, that joke they told you a week ago, that first kiss that could cause explosions around the whole world"
Georgia smiled and laughed quietly to herself.
"I'm just, I'm curious to know what it feels like to fall in love""Georgia, everyone is always curious to fall in love, whether you decide it be a boy or a girl, when you feel love, you cherish it, you learn from it and you grow from it"
Georgia nodded and glanced up at me.
"My sister got lucky when she found you""I got really lucky too"
I blushed, nudging her playfully.--
After another hour of watching countless people walk around the library Reagan finally ventured over to our seats and shrugged.
"I sold like 200 dollars worth of books"
"I'm so happy"
I stood up, kissing her sweetly."Georgia you okay?"
Reagan's mood changed from excited to concerned. I glanced over to see Georgia wiping a tear from her eye.
"Georgia"
Reagan knelt down in front of her."I know now. I know"
She glanced up at me and I knew at that moment, Georgia was telling me one of the hardest confessions to ever tell. She was gay. She was in love with a girl. A secret relationship.
