(Reagans POV)

"Come on Georgia"
I smiled, pulled back the blankets from the bed she was asleep on.
Our grandparents had offered the 2nd story to the house to us while we looked for a place to live, an I really didn't know where I was suppose to go just yet.

"I'm up- God "
She huffed, throwing a tantrum as she made her way to the bathroom. I had been up for hours getting ready to go to Katie's house and see what all she got, which was probably more than what we needed.

"Reagan?"
I heard my grandmother call up the stairs.

"Yeah gran?"
I called back.

She appeared in the doorway and handed me a old Polaroid camera.
"You should take pictures with this instead of that silly cellphone, you'll cherish the memories more with one of these, this one is mine. I took it to every 50 state when I traveled, and it can get you to Tennessee an back just fine"

I smiled taking the camera from her and sliding it in my backpack.

"Be careful"
She smiled softly at me.

"I will, we will all be fine"

She nodded and stepped out of the doorway and headed back downstairs. I continued to pack clothes and everything we need for the camping trip. Today was the day we would leave and it was nearly 7:30 in the morning.

-hey, you awake yet? (:

I texted Katie , hoping she'd be up an ready.

-I'm packing a small art bag just in case I want to paint something lol. But I'm awake.

-I'll be over in 30

-see you then (:

I smiled at my phone and stuck it in my pocket when Georgia came out of the bathroom.

"You taking your laptop?"
Georgia began stuffing a few books in a backpack she was taking

I nodded
"Just in case I get a burst of inspiration"

Georgia smiled as she threw her bag over her shoulder.
"Let's get going"

"I'm ready when you are"

--

The ride to Katie's was long, it was always a long drive, but the city just pulled you in, and the more you drove it felt like the further it took to actually reach it. I glanced over at my sister who was singing along to the radio, she mumbles lyrics to Taylor swift while she played on her cellphone. Typical 14 year old.

"Are you an Katie dating?"
She said randomly

I gripped the wheel, taken back by her nerve to ask me that, but she was my sister and she was entitled to a few things, which code for sister meant, all the hot love gossip was for me to share and for her to give me her opinion even if she thought Katie was bad for me.

I ran my hand through my golden brown hair and turned down the stereo.
"I'm not dating Katie, but I like her"

Georgia smiled and tucked her phone in her shirt and looked at me, her golden hair Was glimmering in the sunlight and she reminded me of myself so much.
"So that's why we're going camping?"

"We're going camping because Katie has had a pretty bad few weeks and we have had a pretty bad few weeks too and I think it would be fun for all of us"

"I followed Katie on her tumblr and she never fails at having a good blog"

I giggled at her and turned back to the road.
"Well as long as you guys get along"

"We do, we did when I met her"
Georgia turned back to her phone.

After driving into the city i pulled the car into the parking lot of Katie's apartment and seen the Recreational vehicle that Katie said she bought

"Holy shit"
I stared at the RV.

"She dropped 50 grand on that?"
Georgia sat up in her seat.

"I guess"

I got out of the car and walked inside the building, hopefully Katie would show me around before we carried everything downstairs to the RV.

I knocked on the door slightly and heard Cameron singing off key and Katie's voice got closer to the door telling her to shut up. I blushed as the door opened and the beautiful girl stood back at me.

"Armstrong on deck"
Georgia nudged me.

"Hey"
I smiled

Katie smiled at me and motioned for me to give her my bag, without handing it too her she pulled it from my shoulder.
"Come on guys"

Her house smelled the same it always did, the fresh scent of flowers and cleanliness. I've never seen the cleaning lady, but I knew they had one.

"Everyone ready?"
I asked.

I seen Kyle sliding on a tank top and putting on sunglasses, typical hipster.

"You both have to flip a coin for car keys"
Katie stood between Kyle and myself.

She was dressed for summer, the light colored shirt and her shorts, It was hard to look away from her, but I bit my lip and stared at Kyle who stared at me devilishly. Because we were both fixing to fight over keys.

"Tales"
Kyle looked at Katie and back at me

"Heads then"
I nodded.

Katie flipped the quarter in her hand , it soared into the air and fell back into her palm where she covered it up and turned it over on the top of her other hand.

"Tails, Kyle drives first"

Kyle smiled at me and gave me the 'haha' look, he ruffled my hair and ran past me with the keys. Katie smiled at me and Georgia, Georgia stared around at her place like it was a palace and Katie instantly took her from the zone.

"Ready?"
She spoke.

I nodded turning around and felt my hand try to find Katie's, and she did the same, it's like these past few days we've been doing things that we've been scared to do, and normally I wasn't shy, but she made me shy.

I blushed towards the floor as we walked down the hall to the elevator and soon we were out in the summer heat climbing into the RV.

"Okay, who's in charge of the music"

"I vote kids bop"
Kyle laughed, opening a piece of gum and sliding it into his mouth.

"No- hell no!"
I watched Katie follow him up to the driver seat. After minutes of silence we all heard fall out boy play over the radio.

"Oh I like her now"
Georgia smiled, singing along to the song.

Katie appeared in the back where Cameron and I smiled at her.

"So , road trip huh?"
She smiled

I grinned up at her, not hiding the blush on my face, and everyone in the room could clearly see we both had stared at each other for just a little bit longer.

She fascinated me, through her art, through the way she was. She cared so much for people and for others, she just couldn't understand how to fill the void of her family, and Cameron made her way back into her life and slowly some of the pieces are mending back together.

I smiled up at her once more, feeling my genuine feelings come to show, and I wanted to stand up and kiss her. I wanted to be her butterfly, her light, to be apart of her journey.
