I stared around the campfire, on the beach it was different than what it was when we were camping in the woods.

This time we had more people, more happiness, and a lot of achievements.

"I want to give a happy Family new Years to everyone"
Kyle smiled that famous soft witted smile.

"A special thanks to Katie here, for being such a good friend, we were living in that apartment for so long and we all grew and found life and it was fantastic, although I'll never forget the nights when all we did was play video games and eat pizza"
I laughed at Kyle and gave him cheers.

"Okay um"
Cameron cleared her throat.

"I know it's not considered really New Years, we just are calling it that because that's the day that I showed up on my sisters front step and everything changed"

She stood up and smiled.
"I'd like to thank everyone here for being some part of this, Leah for being the one to help me change diapers at 2 in the morning, Katie for helping me in those god forsaken crutches, Kyle for being a really nice guy, any girl would love to be with you, and Brooke for being so headstrong and rebellious, I wish I had the guts to spray paint my front gate bright green, yes I've heard the story"
Everyone began to laugh.

"And Reagan for being so lovely and self natured, your a great person, Georgia you are too, you have given me a few books that have made me lay in bed at night and thing and not stop thinking, and Frankie, your new to this group, I want you to know that this isn't friends, it's family, so welcome"
She smiled, cheering across the campfire towards Frankie.

"I'm not one for speeches, I'm mostly lost in my head most of the time, I'm good at drawing and anything of the sort but speeches aren't my thing"
I nervously smiled.

"But if I could say anything to anyone here is that I love you all, you've all had some impact on me, you've all made a mark on my life and I'll never forget anyone of you, even credence who is sleeping upstairs in his crib, Cameron please pay attention to the baby monitor"
I watched as she shook the small screen at me.

"I'm watching him idiot"
She flipped me off.

After everyone had there speeches, Reagan stood up and and silently made her way in front of me and turned to face me, her smile bright and confident as I blushed up at her.

"This wouldn't be the New Years for us, it would actually be two weeks prior to this date, when I actually thought you were lost at an event you attend regularly, the art gallery where you bought me the most gorgeous piece in the room"

"Aside from that I remember the first time I felt so alive with you, that night when we went swimming and I was hurrying to take my clothes off and jump in, the water was so warm and we swam to each other and its one of my favorite memories and all we did was jump in the water and swim"
I smiled up at her as she played with her promise ring I had give her.

"I remember the night I asked you to marry me, I had thought of all the reasons why I would want to marry you, because you make my heart beat a thousand times a second, and then all the reasons I wouldn't want to marry you, because if it beat that much you'd die"

Everyone laughed and I seen Reagan smile down at me.
"But I do, I love you so much, your everything I wanted and then more, and just as I'm your butterfly, you are my books, you are every thought I think, every trace I leave behind, you're in pieces and parts of it, you're my fiancé and if you've shown me anything about love It's that it really just happens on its own, so elegant and so gracefully. There's no one is rather waste time with than you"

I smiled up at Reagan who just smiled back down at me, like the world didn't exist and it was just us. I stood up and kissed her.

She was the greatest thing that ever happened to me.
