Nobody told me that driving through the middle of the country there was hardly anything too see. If I wanted to paint I'd draw one tan line across the canvas and call it a work of art. But I decided not to waste my canvas on that.

"Are we across the state line yet?"
I heard my sister call.

"Yeah!"
I walked back into the back of the RV away from Kyle. I glanced around the room seeing Katie type on her laptop and Cameron was debating on what cereal to fix.

"You know the rule for the bus is you can't take a shit"

"What?"
She turned around

"Yeah, it makes the whole thing just smell terrible"

"You didn't know that?"
Reagan looked up at Cameron.

She shook her head and put her spoon back in her cereal bowl.
"Well we're going to need to have a rest stop soon, because I'm pregnant"

I smiled and turned back to walk to Kyle to make a quick pit stop at the next exit. I glanced at my phone seeing a picture on social media of my sister and a group of friends in front of the Eiffel Tower, I smiled and commented that she looked like she was having fun. A text came through my phone and I seen Leah's name pop up.

-Hey! Our birthday is in two weeks! How have you been?

I smiled at the message and texted back

-I'm fine, going camping with a bunch of people.

-Reagan? Lol

-Reagan and her sister, my friend Kyle, and Cameron.

-Our sister?

-mhm (:

I felt like she thought she was out of place, and I felt like maybe I shouldn't have told her. But she just texted back for us too have fun and she had too go.

I stuck my phone in my pocket and felt the RV Come to a stop.

"Bathroom break!"
Kyle called as his feet shifted across the floor and he came into view.

"We're in Arizona"
He smiled

I stepped off the bus and noticed the heat that engulfed me, I made way inside the convenient store and headed to the bathrooms.

"So what did Leah say to you?"
I heard Cameron talk to me from the other stall.

"I think she feels bad for it just being me and you together and she's not with us"

"She's in Paris!"
Cameron argued.

"We need to plan a birthday party, for all of us, I know it doesn't help that she's always been out of the country"
I spoke softly as Cameron stayed quiet in the other stall, and just as Cameron was about to speak a woman spoke over us, obviously annoyed.

"Listen, this is a bathroom and I'm not trying to hear about your family problems!"

I began laughing and so did Cameron as the stall door flew open and the woman stomped out. We ruined her bathroom break, clearly.

"I don't think she was mad"
Cameron opened her stall door walking to the sink.

I zipped up my shorts and joined her in the next sink.
"Not mad at all"

We both walked out of the bathroom and was walking back to the door to leave and a shelf caught my eye. I picked up a journal that had a typewriter on it an immediately thought of Reagan, I smiled as I stuck it on the counter and paid for it.

"Just a little something"
I smiled at Cameron who grinned at me.

"Just ask her out already"

"I can't"
I argued.

"Why not?"
We walked up to the RV.

"Cause I could never say anything like that, I get nervous"

Our conversation was cut short when Georgia ran passed us yelling at Kyle he could pump the gas now. I laughed as the golden haired girl climbed back on the bus. Kyle smiled at me.

"She acts just like Brooke"

I shook my head
"Spray painted the gate neon green I can't believe it"

I climbed on the RV and motioned Reagan to the back. She followed me slowly , I didn't like giving gifts to one specific person in front of a few people.

"Yeah?"
She tucked her hair behind her ear nervously

I smiled handing her the brown paper bag.
"I picked you up something while I was inside"

She took the bag smiling at it.
"You don't have to do things like this, I can't compete with you"

I chuckled and shook my head.
"Reagan, it's fine, there's not a competition, just talking to me is enough"

She pulled open the bag an the typewriter notebook say in her hands.
"You know I had a typewriter once"

"You're a very good writer and if you ever feel like handwriting you can have this to put your ideas on, just brainstorm without the backspace button"

She sat down next to me on the small couch and flipped open to the first page.

"The main character in my story will be named Katie"

"An her nickname can be butterfly"
I smiled , nudging her, dipping my face closer than usual. She caught it too and stayed there, a slow state happened and I felt my throat hitch and my fingers curled up and sat softly on her hand. She smiled and leaned further into me, her breath brushing lightly along my chin and her lips came up and softly our lips met perfectly.

I felt her hand cup my jaw, her soft hand held me like I was brittle and fragile, I held her hand so I didn't die and go to heaven oh so suddenly. We both pulled away slowly Andover eyes met.

I've wanted to kiss her ever since I held her hand in the car that first time, I didn't want to stop, I wanted to feel her lips on mine again and again. I wanted to lose myself in her.

I leaned in again and kissed her deeper, she craved me the same way because she tucked her fingers in my hair.

"Hey you gu- oh!"
I heard Georgia interrupt us.

Reagan pulled back quickly turning to her sister who was smiling devilishly.
"I just wanted to let you know Kyle said we were leaving, I didn't mean to come in like that, but I approve of you guys"
She snapped her fingers an quickly turned around.

I turned to Reagan who was blushing , her face was as red as a fire truck and I thought she was gonna become redder.

"I've never been caught like that"
I confessed.

"Me either, she's going to have a million questions for me later you know that"

I nodded hiding my face by looking at the floor.
"At least we were just kissing"

"Yeah"
She laughed standing up.

"Thank you for the notebook, but I'm gonna go up here so we don't get caught again"

I nodded as she turned around and walked up front, I heard a snicker from the hall an Georgia appeared.
"My sister really likes you"

"Does she?"

"Yeah, she's got a loving heart, and she lets people in easily, so please don't hurt her"

I nodded.
"I won't"

"Good, cause then I'd have to be her shoulder, and she cries rivers"

I laughed and stood up next to Georgia.
"Let's get up front"

She nodded and turned to walk. I felt the electricity still burn in my lips, I felt her fingertips still on my face, And her want and her crave in her kiss. Goosebumps grew on my skin as the beautiful girl came into view.

She was an art girl, and I was going to make her mine.
