I woke up that morning ready for the best day of my life, the day Reagan came home, the day my life was back in order and I could finally hold her and hug her. I slid into Kyle's car and backed out of the driveway slowly. I was picking her up from the airport and surprising her with my new attained skill.
"Be careful"
Kyle spoke as he stood next to the car waving.I waved him off and drove quickly out of the driveway. The ride there was slow and very impatient, I eagerly waited at stop lights, traffic jams, and everything in between. When the airport finally came into view I was staring intently at the people walking out finding there rides, I noticed her standing against the airport waiting for a limo to pull up, but instead I was in Kyle's car.
I bit my lip as I pulled up and got out, I was going to surprise her, and the closer I got the closer I couldn't help but scream.
"Reagan"
I called. The golden haired girl turned to me and smiled that beautiful smile that I fell in love with, I reached out and pulled her close to me, her touch was everything I was missing. The three months without her were the worst, but this moment was my everything.
"Do you want to go home?"
I smiled, kissing her deeply. She nodded in our kiss.
"Yes"I took her hand and walked past all the cars and finally to Kyle's car, the red Honda Civic at the end of the line.
"Who drove?"
She raised an eyebrow curiously."Me"
I smirked.I opened the car door and got inside, Reagan slid inside next to me and only laughed.
"You learned to drive?""Yes, Kyle taught me"
"Are we going to die?"
She looked over at me."We are totally going to die"
I pulled out of the parking zone and back into traffic."I missed you"
She reached for my hand that wasn't on the wheel, but much rather resting on the console."I called off work today, Frankie is at the store with the painters and the interior decorators"
I looked to her."I can't believe you have a store"
"Interstellar graphic and designs"
She smiled and squeezed my hand.
"I'm proud of you"I wanted to just stop the car and hold her and love her and make up for the past few months where I have craved her, but if there's one thing I do know about driving is that distractions cause accidents.
"I'm proud of you, I'm proud of you going and getting your book more popular"
She grinned
"Time to start my next book"I kissed the top of her hand.
"Time for me too keep cheering you on""You got a text"
Reagan pointed to my phone."Read it for me"
"Come by the store, it looks good in here, Frankie"
Reagan read."Wanna go see what I've been doing for three weeks?"
She smiled and blushed.
"Of course"I drove across town excited to see what the store looked like, I pulled in front and seen Frankie taking pictures of everything and it only made me laugh.
"That's Frankie"
I pointed to the chubby Guy who was waving his phone around like crazy snapping pictures.I opened the door and went to Reagan's side and took her hand, when I opened the door a bell went off and I glanced up at the new addition. Inside the receptionist had her own desk and a brand new computer. And towards the back a wall was put in to block customers off.
