Crystalline shard trapped attempting to fly through the air
Just trying to land on the lake that's rushing past
The glass sprinkles moonlight in sparks around and looks grand fair
The shards cut at themselves and splinter till all is released in a cold blast
Then a warrior steps through the debris
And cowers with cat ears poking high
Looks around with sad sad glee
Simply states "I am free."Then turns a large sword and looks to the sky
Then the truth comes out "I will not die
Not for you and not for me
My word is my bond and ever shall be."
Then turns the timid frame covered in fragile dust of glass
And turns a knight to face the past.
Sprint walking in the night
Only the glass mind gives itself fright
But realises as glass forms back round
That they must fight till in the ground.

De Todopoems by me. Try not to judge too harshly some of these were made at 13-14 years old. The new-ish ones start at "scars inside" so, um... enjoy?
