The three of us were at the abandoned arcade laughing at all the memories we were looking back on. We always do this every Friday, and now this will be my last Friday with them for a while.

"Remember when Chad fell backwards slipping on the chipped floor" Valerie said laughing. We all nodded as we began to laugh with her. "And when you had that huge cut on your forehead from slipping and hitting your head the broken pac-man machine" Chad laughed looking at me. "Well we aren't the only ones to get hurt or embarrassed here Val" I said.

"Ugh no don't bring that up please" she begged covering her face. "Remember when you slipped and hung from the exact branch and was so scared you actually peed yourself"

"Shawn! Shut up!" She said playfully shoving me. "Sorry!" I said sticking my hands up in surrender. "Hey what time is it?" Chad asked. "Seven.." Valerie said as her smile faded. "I have to get home to finish packing" I said standing up.

They both nodded as we all got into my car "I'm helping you finish" Chad said. I smiled and nodded "I'll help too" Val quickly said.

Once we got to my house we entered my room and I pulled out my last suitcase, and we began to fill it up.

"Okay you better call me when you land okay?" My mother said as she pulled me in for a tight hug. "I will mom don't worry" I responded. "Me next" my little sister said as she held her arms open. I smiled hugging her "I'm going to miss you Shawn" she said squeezing me tighter than my mother as if that was even possible.

"I'll miss you too bud" I responded. "Aaliyah, let go he needs to say bye to his friends now sweetie" I heard my mother say. I felt my sister nod as she pulled back, tears streamed down her face. I quickly wiped them and kissed her forehead "I'll be back soon okay I promise" I told her. She nodded, as I walk over to my two bestfriends.

"So.."

"So.."

"Come here" I said pulling Chad in for a hug. "I'll see you soon bro" I told him and he said the same thing. When I laid my eyes on Valerie she was a wreck. "Val I'll only be gone for a couple of months" I said smiling.

"I-I know it just won't be the same for a while" she said. I pulled her in for a hug and she tightly wrapped her arms around me. The butterflies in my stomach began to erupt. Should I tell her?

"Flight 17334 to Los Angeles now boarding"

I heard Valerie gasp as she squeezed me tighter. I do the same. "I'll call you when I land okay?"

She nodded as we pulled back a bit. Our arms were still wrapped around eachother. I wanted to kiss her. So so bad. But I couldn't atleast...not now.

I let her go and grab my stuff and began to walk away from them I turned around and waved at them once more before I got to my gate. I turned my head a bit and I still saw them watching me. I gave them one last wave then made my way into the plane.

I was now in my hotel room all alone. I hated being alone. Like I get so bored. After I while I decided to call Valerie again.

   Valerie
"Still missing me Shawny boy."

Shawn
"Yes and I'm really, really bored."

Valerie
"So am I, but Chad and I are about to go see a movie to keep us distracted"

Shawn
"Distracted? Distracted from what?"

Valerie
"You silly, we miss you too much so we're gonna do some fun stuff to forget you"

Shawn
"Gee thanks that sounds nice"

Valerie
"I was kidding we're just gonna see movie and maybe go get pizza with Laur and Zack"

Shawn
"What is this like a double date?"

Valerie
"What?!...a ha no...w-we're just hanging out"

Shawn
"But aren't Laur and Zack dating?"

Valerie
"I mean yeah..but we're all hanging out as a group of friends"

Shawn
"Whatever makes you sleep at. Night"

Valerie
"Ugh shut up Shawn you're annoying"

Shawn
"Okay I'll hang up and see you wh---"

Valerie
"No I was kidding! I loveeee youuuu"

Shawn
"I know haha I love you too"
