It was my last day here it was also Shawns. So he decided to take me out for brunch considering we slept in and it was around 2. "What time does your flight leave?" He asks. "Around nine, yours?"

"Seven" he responded as he took a piece of pancakes and ate it. "So what is the plan for today Shawny boy?" I asked. He smiled and rolled his eyes, he hated when I called him that. "Well Val gal we're going to go to time square, and maybe the World Trade Center if we have time" he responded. "Okay, but first don't call me Val gal"

He smirked "Or what?"

"Let's just say you won't be able to have children" I said smiling as I took a bite of my waffle. "Ouch" he said. "Anyways we better get going, we only have so much time" he said as he left money on the table. We  both got up and began to walk.

"So Laur told me something very interesting last night" he said. I stopped in my tracks and looked at him with wide eyes "W-what did she tell you?" I asked.

"Nothing, I was just joking with you" he said as he began to laugh. I punched his arm causing him to grab him arm "Ow! What did you think I was being serious?" He asked. "No.." I responded and began to walk again. "Then why did you look so scared...is there something you're hiding from me?" He asked grabbing my hand to stop me. "No I'm not hiding anything Shawn, let's just keep walking we're almost there" I said pulling my hand back and began to walk.

The rest of the walk was silent, we eventually made it to Times Square and that's when all my worries disappeared. It was like I imagined big, beautiful, lots of people, lots of stores, lots of many things.

"Where to first?" He asked. "I don't know!" I said looking around excitedly. "Let's walk to the middle and where ever we look first is the first place we're going" he said. I nodded as I ran towards the middle causing Shawn to laugh at my excitement.

"Okay ready go" he said. We both ended up looking at the huge toys r us first which caused us to laugh. "Holy crap this place is huge" I said looking all over the place. There was a freaking Ferris wheel in here. "Do you want to go on it?" He asked. "What?"

"The Ferris wheel"

I nodded quickly, he read my mind. We both got in line for it and I bounced in place. "Jeez Val relax"

I laughed and nudged him to shut up. "Next" the man said as we stepped up. "Okay go right in" he said opening the little door. We both went inside and sat across eachother. The man closed the door and we were on our way to the top. I kept looking around seeing all the toys and I even saw a sections of peeps on the second floor which got me even more excited. "Like it here?" He asks. I nodded and gave him a big smile.

Once we stopped at the top I looked all the way down. We were pretty high.

Shawns phone began to ring breaking me from my thoughts. I swear if we have to go...

"Okay I'll be right there" he said hanging up. He looks at me with a disappointed look. "What?" I asked pretending not to know what's about to go on.

"I have a premier to go to and they bumped my flight to leave in a hour.." He said. "What.." I whispered. My flight leaves at nine it was three he expects me to stay here by myself for six hours.. "I'm sorry" he said. The Ferris Wheel began to move. I sit back and looked out to the side to avoid eye contact.

Once we were on the ground the man opened the tiny door and I stormed off. I didn't know which way to go but I kept walking. "Val wait" I heard Shawn say. But I ignored him, what kind of friend would leave their bestfriend alone in the city.

"Val please stop" he said grabbing my hand. "What?" I snapped looking at him. "I don't understand why you're getting so angry.."he says looking at me. "Don't understand? Oh my god Shawn you're leaving to Las Vegas in a hour. You are leaving me in a hour to stay alone here for six freaking hours!" I yelled. Thankfully people walking the sidewalks were to distracted by everything else. "It's not my fault Val! I'm doing my job here..I thought you understood" he said looking down.

I sighed, he was right this is his job his dream job to be more specific. "You're right I'm sorry..its just I'm not going to know what to do for alone for six hours" I said as I hugged him.

He sighed pulling back "come with me to the airport once I leave you can wait at your gate"

"For six hours.."

"Better than staying at the hotel alone not knowing what to do or where to go" he said. I nodded knowing he was right "fine let's go"

Tears streamed down my face cause I knew after today i won't be seeing him for a while. "Don't cry Val" he said pulling me in for a hug. "Ugh I'm sorry I'm so pathetic"

"No you're not, I'm going to miss you too" he said pulling back but we were still in eachother arms. Kissed my forehead and he sighed. "My flight is boarding I have to go" he said. I pull him for a tight hug one last time and then pulled back. "See you soon" he said. I nodded and waved as he began walking to his gate. Once I couldn't see him anymore I began to walk towards mine. Obviously my flight wasn't in the monitor considering I'm six hours early but oh well time to kill the time.

My flight leaves in a hour. Which relieves me I've been so bored. I face timed Chad for three hours of them but he had to leave cause he had to work. So I was left alone once again. Of course I went on Instagram to see if Shawn got to the premier on time, and he did. There was a picture of him and Camila all dressed up. The caption was "me and my beautiful date at the premier"

I rolled my eyes and locked my phone and left it next to me for it could charge.

After looking at that picture it made me wonder.

Why didn't Shawn invite me?
