I grabbed my luggage and began to make my way out the airport. I quickly made it out and called the first taxi I saw. "Where to?" He asked. I told him the hotel Shawn was staying at and he began to drive.

I went on Instagram again and searched up Camila's page. Her recent picture was with Shawn.

"@shawnmendes and I are in desperate need of caffeine."

The description said. His head was on hers and I noticed his arm was around her a bit as well. I rolled my eyes and locked my phone as I stared out the window. New York is so beautiful.

"Okay we're here that'll be 25 bucks" he said holding his hand out. I gave him the cash and got out bringing out my suitcase.

As I entered the lobby I saw a group of girls talking, one of them was staring at me, next thing I knew they were all staring at me.

They began to walk towards me "you're Valerie right? Shawns girlfriend?"

"Yes but I'm not his girlfriend, I'm his bestfriend" I responded. "Can we get a picture with you?" Another girl asked. "Uh..sure" I said smiling. This was weird. Nobody has ever asked for a picture.

After I took pictures with all the girls, one squealed saying Shawn was coming in. I smiled widely as I fixed myself. "And he's with Camila!" I heard another girl yell. My smile faded as  I saw them smiling as they entered the lobby. Once the girls ran over to them they took a bunch of pictures with eachother.

After all those pictures Shawn and Camila began to walk my way, I stood there waiting for him to see me, and he did. He smiled widely "Val!" He shouted jogging towards me. "Surprise!" I shouted as I jumped into his arms.

"What are you doing here?" He asked pulling back. "I came to surprise you!" I responded. "Where's Chad?" He asked. "He couldn't make it, but he said he misses you and he wishes he could be here"

Shawn pulled back and grabbed Camila's hand pulling her forward "by the way Val this is Camila, and Camila this is Valerie"

She gave me a small smile "it's finally nice to meet you, I've heard so much about you" she says pulling me in for a hug. "I hope they're good things" I said. "Oh they are" she responded laughing.

"Uh here's my room key, just leave your stuff there and we'll wait down here for you" he said as he looked at Camila and smiled. "Um o-okay" I said as I took the keys and made my way to the elevator.

He would usually walk me. Why was I feeling so hurt about this?
