It's the night of the party and no one could possibly be more nervous than I am. I can't count the times I have been sucking my lower lip, including biting it. There is a small bruise on my lower lip, I know. This night could either go okay or terribly bad. After what happened at the mall Justin had second thoughts about going but I assured him it will be fine so we are going. I don't even know why I said that, we could of stayed home and maybe even do what we did the other day..
"Ready?" Justin snaps me out of my horrid thoughts and I vigorously nod my head.
"Yeah, I just need my phone." I grab it from the nightstand beside my bed and take my time to approach him. He furrows his eyebrows as he looks at me, having a slight frown on his face and I question him what's wrong.
"I don't know how I feel about you wearing that." He gestures to my dress. I'm wearing a short navy blue dress that is a bit too short, but I really like it. I feel a tad uncomfortable with it pushing my breast up, but the dress is cute.
"I like it." I tell him and he lets out a sigh. "I will so get into a fight because of you." He mutters and I roll my eyes. That's the last thing that will ever happen. A boy finding me attractive? Never. They will only like the cleavage that my dress is happy to show. I grab his hand and he kisses my temple before we quickly go downstairs.
My dad is standing in front of the door, facing the staircase, and his eyes almost pop out of his head as he sees us, but I think it's mainly because of me. "What are you wearing?!" I feel my cheeks turn pink and Justin agrees with him. "I told her, but she won't listen."
"You are the worst!" I suck on my lower lip and let go of Justin's hand, crossing my arms over my chest. I was planning on wearing a jacket on top of it.
"I'm sorry sweetie but don't you think it's a bit revealing?" My dad awkwardly asks and I shrug. I walk past them and grab the black jacket that hangs on the coat hanger and open the door.
"I'll ask Kevin to take me to the party, jerks." I close the door and put on my jacket. I turn my phone on and go to my messages with Kevin but suddenly I'm being held from behind. I struggle to get off his grip and groan. "Don't be mad at me. I just don't want anyone to look at what belongs to me." I slap his arm and he finally lets go of me.
"Whatever, lets go." He unlocks his car and I quickly get inside. Seconds later he is in and we are off to the stupid party that I didn't even want to go, but stupid me said it's fine.
I text Kevin during the whole ride since apparently Jocelyn doesn't trust him to drive because last time he almost killed a kitten. Justin grabs one of my hands from my phone and intertwines our fingers together. I struggle to text Kevin with just one hand but manage to do it.
"Why won't you talk to me?" He asks as his thumb rubs my hand.
"I have nothing to say." I reply and notice him frown. "Are you mad at me?" I shake my head and he sighs, dropping my hand to use both hands on the steering wheel.
"Are you mad at me?" I retort and he shakes his head, so I resume to texting Kevin. We soon get to whoever's house the party is held at and get out of the car. I continue texting him, asking him where they are and he doesn't reply.
Justin continues walking not noticing I have stopped but I don't make an effort on calling him since I'm wondering why Kevin isn't replying. Suddenly I feel two hands on my hips and a hot breath on my ear causing me to jump. "Hey sexy lady," I hit the idiot and turn to face him, giving him a big hug.
"Hey Lynn," I smile at her and pull away from the hug to hug her as well. She smiles back and we head to the house. "Where is your Prince Charming?" Kevin asks and I shrug.
