A/N: I really want to finish this story because I want to work on my other stories and it drives me crazy the fact I haven't finished it yet! I will be more focused on this story from now on.
Dedication to whoever comments :)
Ashley's P.O.V
"Hey, Liv," I say as I sit next to her on the piano's seat. She waves her hand and looks back at the piano.
"Where is she?" Liv asks and I smile.
"She is with Olivia," I say and her eyes widen a bit.
After long talks with her every day, I got her to agree on seeing her. It took me a week or more to convince her but it was worth it because she agreed. I think it would do well to Sandy to see her. She will see that she is not alone and that there are people who love her. There is always someone there who loves you.
"That's nice, how did you convince her, you gave her more muffins?" She snickers and I shake my head.
"I only talked to her, a lot, every morning and night." I say and she nods.
"Let me guess, she told you 'Okay, I will talk to her only if you will shut up and let me sleep'?" She says and I chuckle, nodding. She did, she actually did said that, those were her exact words.
"Yeah, but I know she didn't really mean it, I know she did want to talk to her." I say and she shrugs.
"Yeah," she sighs, "so, when are you leaving? You actually seem pretty fine after just a week and a half." She says and I shrug.
"I don't think I'm fine, I'll never be fine, I will always have this demon in me but you got to keep living." I say and she nods.
"That's very positive and inspiring but here no one can afford to think that way anymore. This place got us. Look around." She says and I look around the room.
I see all the pale and lifeless teens that seem they don't have a bit of happiness in them, no hope, and no faith, not a glimpse of anything positive.
"Why don't you play the piano?" I ask her and her pale face seems to become paler.
"It's none of your business!" She says, glaring at me, and I nod.
"I'm sorry, I was just curious." I say and get up from the seat.
I look at her raise her hands to slam them on the piano but she takes them away and gets up. She walks past me and leaves. I guess I pushed the limits, but I didn't mean it.
I come out of the room and walk around. I pass by the receptionist and my eyes widen as I see someone I never imagined seen here. Her eyes widen as they meet mine and tears appear in her eyes. I suck on my lower lip and she walks up to me.
"Ashley," she chokes out, "what happened?" She asks as she pushes my hair behind my ear.
"Mom, what are you doing here?" I ask. My eyes still wide open.
"Miss, I'm sorry but you can't come in like that, you need permission." The receptionist says and my mom waves her off.
"She is my daughter! I don't need permission to see her!" She shots at her and the receptionist, Bianca, looks at me questioning me if I allow her to see me.
"It's okay, Bianca." I say and she sighs, nodding. She gets back to her place and my mom smiles at me.
"Can we go outside to talk? I don't like being in here. It gives me the chills." She says and I nod.
