Ashley's P.O.V

"Hey" Aaron greets everyone and I awkwardly smile at them, no, it's not an awkward smile, it's a scared smile, I'm scared.

I know it's stupid to be scared of them, they can't really do anything to me besides hurt me emotionally, I think physically too but I doubt they will do it, I actually hope. Gosh I'm so pathetic and such a coward.

"Ashley ! I didn't knew you are Aaron's girlfriend" Britanny says and I shake my head as 'no', Aaron shifts uncomfortably and takes a sit and I sit next to him facing Justin and Brittany.

"We are not a couple" I say and she chuckles, Aaron grabs my hand and makes me look at him, I turn to look at him and he comes closer to me.

"Are you sure we are not?" He whispers in my ear and I gulp.

"I would love to, it would be an honor, to be your boyfriend" His lips slightly brushing my ear making me nervous, he turns to look into my eyes and asks me what do I say.

Me? Is he seriously asking me that? Aaron? The Aaron that I know or used to think I knew is asking me that, I'm speechless, I can't even think right, I mean yes, he does make feel good, he is one of the best friends I could have ever asked for, but what do I know about friends, especially about  boyfriends and relationships, I'm not even ready for a kiss, how can I be ready for a boyfriend? I know Aaron for a long time but I never really knew him, but now I do, sort of, ugh, what should I say?

"Say yes" I hear Brittany say and Aaron rolls his eyes as he chuckles.

"I.." I look at everyone around us in the table and notice everyone's eyes are on us besides Justin's but he does seem to be looking at us by the corner of his eye, I turn to look at Aaron and close my eyes, I nod and open my eyes, he gives me a bone crushing hug and I giggle, Brittany cheers and Aaron tells me to ignore her.

"I'm going to get us something" Aaron gets up and leaves me alone with the people who hate me the most, I bite my lip nervously and Claire looks at me questioning me what am I doing here, I'm wondering that too.

"Awe, how cute, I knew you will do it again" She gushes and I furrow my eyebrows confused.

Do it again? what does she mean by that? what am I doing again? she needs to stop doing and saying those type of things because it's driving me crazy, this is girl is going to keep making me confuse, more and more every time, I'm going to end up in mental house.

"W..."

"I brought you a cupcake" Aaron says as he sits back next to me, he hands it to me and eats his own, I smile at him and and thank him.

"No problem, you are my girlfriend" He plants a soft kiss on my cheek making me blush so I look down as I silently eat my cupcake.

"So when and how was your first kiss?" Claire asks me as she eats from her salad.

"I have never kissed anyone" I mutter and as a cue everybody laughs and Justin chokes on his sandwich, my lips start to shake and my eyes start to get watery, I get up and run from the cafeteria earning looks from everybody.
