Three days and it's over. Graduation is in three more days, meaning three more days and the place that I hated the most will be separated. I won't ever have to go there again. Finally a new beginning. I have been waiting for this for so long. High school has been such a dreadful era for me. Well, it had its good moments, which were when Justin came into my life and Aaron and Joey became my friends. It was awful, but I got through it- no, three more days and I'll finally go through it.

I have got straight A's and so much praise from my teachers. They were all super nice to me and said if I needed any help for college, any recommendation letters they'll be thrilled to write any for me. It was so nice. I won't miss high school one bit, but I'll miss some of my teachers.

"Ashley?" I snap out of my thoughts and realize we have arrived home already. "Were you saying something?" I take my seatbelt off.

"Yeah, Alan's car is here." He points at the grey car in our parking lot and I look at it confused.

Ever since the accident I have been spending time in my mom's house. She has been very depressed and Alan and I are trying our best to brighten her mood. Alan himself is heartbroken, but he's doing everything he can to be there for my mom even though he needs someone there for him as well. I don't hate Alan but I also don't like him. I'm just glad that my mom has someone there for her that cares so much and loves her.

What I don't understand is, why is he here. It's usually me the one that goes over their house. My dad still hates him, but he has gone once or twice over their place. My dad still cares about my mom.

I worry that something bad has happened to her so that's why he's here. But he would of called. My mom is really sad but I don't think she would do anything crazy. I should know better, after all I got some crazy history.

"Are you okay?" Justin grabs my hand, which I hadn't realized that I had formed into a fist.

"Uh Uh," I open the door and come out of the car.

"Wait! I'll go with you." Justin calls and I stop walking. Quickly he catches up and grabs my hand. "Hey, don't worry. I'm sure everything is fine." He tries to reassure me and I only nod.

We get to my door and surprisingly it's not locked. I open the door slowly, trying to prepare myself to whatever will encounter me inside. We walk in and the most surprising sound echoes through the house. Laughter. And not anyone's laughter, but my mom's. A sound I haven't heard for so long.

"Mom?" I call and go to the living room to see her sat on the couch, clutching the tv remote close to her chest as she watches a homemade video of me, when I was a baby. Wow, I have never seen those. It's a video of me wearing my mom's bra on top of my head as I drink milk from my bottle.

"You cried every time we tried to take it off of you." I hear my dad say. I hadn't realized he was here too. He is sat on the other couch and watching humorously the tv.

"I only hope I didn't go out like on the public." This causes my mom to laugh and I smile. "Oh, boy but you did. The only times you would allow us to take it off was when you took a shower." Any other moment I would feel embarrassed by this but as long as I see my mother smile and laugh, I'm okay with that.

"Ashley, don't eat candy before dinner!" I hear my mom's voice.

"Ashley, don't eat candy before dinner!" I see myself mimicking my mom as there is a huge pile of Halloween candy in front of me. I'm wearing my costume, which is a lion.

"You look so cute!" Justin says, reminding me he's here and I blush.

"Come sit." My mom pats the spot next to her and we sit. "You know Justin, Ashley wasn't always like this, when she was little she was so sassy and never did what you told her to. I remember this one time it was her birthday and there was a clown. The clown had asked her to close her eyes for a surprise but instead she pinched his nose and stole the ballon animal he had previously made." My eyes widen. I don't recall doing that.
