Prologue

Rachel's POV:

I was sitting in my mother's car driving down I-80. We would be reaching the small town of Wallowswood Missouri soon. My new resting place for my life. Or at least until I finish High School in two year's. This suck's. Me, Rachel Redwood, popular Cheerleader of Woodrow Wilson High School in Washington D.C., has to move to Missouri where her nothing of a father went.

I haven't seen my father since I was five. He abused me and my mother, so we decided o leave him. He claimed it was only to toughen us up, but I don't believe him anyways. Why would I need to be toughened up? It made no sense to me what-so-ever, but hey, that's what you get for being psychologically challenged.

I would be attending Midnight Academy, a place where everyone in my father's family attended. It's supposed to be a boarding school in the middle of nowhere with no access to modern day life except on weekends when you were aloud to leave campus to visit your family.

Mom would be living three hours away, the closest area to civilization near Midnight Academy. If you asked me, this would be one hell of a year. Not only that but everyone here has been with each other since they were Freshman's. I'd be the outsider, and they didn't have a cheer leading squad. How am I going to live?

We pulled up to a very large open area with black gates that slowly oppened. There were houses scattered everywhere. They said wewould be mattched up with a boy to room with, and we'd have to stay ina small house, but if this is what they call small, then I'd better get used to rich stuck up snob's. They looked to be about three stories tall each with their own garage's. God Bless America!

Mom parked in front of the main building and helped me out of the car. We were leaving my bag's here so we could find my house and take it with the car. Lovely. I'de have to walk to classes unless my roommate offered to drive me everyday, and with my luck, I'd have to walk a couple miles.

"Hello there!" A lady with glasses and gray hair said as we walked in smiling at us. "You must be Rachel. I'm Gloria Flare, but you can call me Gloria. I don't like my last name." I smiled at her as my mom talked to her. "Rachel sweetie, if you wouldn't mind stepping back here for a moment. I'd like to introduce you to the boy's that don't yet have roommates." Gloria said to me.

"Okay." I pulled my long, partially natural curly hair into a pony tail and followed her to a back room. There were five boy's standing there looking at me.

"Now I have to mind you dear, that there are kid's from all over the world that attend Midnight Academy. These are just a few who are in the same grade as you, but don't yet have partners to room with." She said still smiling. "This is Francis, he's from France, but he speak's English very fluidly. Actually, everyone here does.

"This is Dominic, Spain, Richard, Washington State, Gregory,  Ohio, and then Jared, from right here in the small town of Wallowswood." I looked at them all, and my eyes landed on Jared. He was handsome, very handsome, with brown, almost black hair, and green eyes. He was tall, and very muscular, like he worked out all the time. He was looking into my goldish brown eyes and just stared. I felt a jolt of electricity run through my veins and my heart skipped a few beats before Gloria spoke up.

"Oh, well look at that. I know who your roommate is. Come with me. Boy's, yourdismissed to go back to your dorms. Rachel, come with me." I followed her back to the front, reluctantly. What the hell happened back there? "Here you go sweetie, there's your key, your address, and your roommate will share a schedule with you, so you wont have to worry about geting lost. I hope to see you again. Good luck with all of your classes."

I walked back out to my mom's car and we soon found my 'house'. It was right in the back row of houses right where the wood's started. Lovely. I get to here wolves howl and bear's threaten to break my windows. Mom helped me with my bags and we carried them into the house leaving them in the foyer.

After mom said good bye and left, I decided to walk around and explore. Right across from the foyer was the living room decked out with a 56" Flat screen and an  xbox 360. Right behind the living room was the kitchen where I would preparing all the meals, and right beside the kitchen was the dinning room.

I walked up the stairs to the living area's. There was only one bedroom here and a full bathroom. In the bedroom was a King sized bed. I hope there's another room, otherwise, I'll be sleeping on the couch. I turned away and walked up the other set of stair's and walked into a complete mess. It was an attic. Only one bedroom. That is completely messed up. I went back to the  living room, sat on the couch, with the t.v. on, and feel to sleep in my cloths.

My life officially sucks.
