Chapter Eleven

Chapter Eleven

Katie's POV:

I was in the woods with Erik.We were bored so we snuck out and went to the woods and talked.We also took a blanket and stole food from the fridge so in a way we were having a picnic under the moon.A full moon.

"So like are you gonna like turn into a wolf?"I asked jokingly."Only if you want me to."He said laughing."Wow.They do horrible things to us in movies."I took a bite of a tuna sandwhich I made."I know.I think they misjudged us for the rogues."

The rogues were werewolves that thought they were powerful.They loved to kill humans in the middle of the night and they hated to follow packs.They were more on their own.They also killed packs.Pretty horrible.Erik's mother was killed by a rogue.He hated talking about it.He was very close to her.

I couldn't imagine it.Living without one of my parents.It would be horrible.I loved my parents and my brother so much.I was a year younger than my brother.My parents told me I was completely unexpected.

"Yeah.What's it like turning in to a wolf?"He laughed."How many times have you asked me this?"

"Lots,but you never go in to good detail.You usually just say 'it's alright'.You never tell me what it feels like."He smiled.I was always curious.That's why he loved to tell me that curiousity killed the cat.He claims it's gonna get me killed someday.He's joking,but sometimes it makes me wonder if it will.

"Okay.I'll try to go into as much detail as I can."He said laughing."Just tell me."I saod rolling my eyes.

"When you transform,it's like the most painful thing in the world.It goes on for what seems like hours,but really it's just a couple of minutes.Once you are the wolf,everything feels great.It's like you could take on the world.Like everything is...perfect.It feels great to do pretty much anything.Anything except for fighting for your life or whatever.When it comes to that you are too focused.You can't feel anything except for anger or you feel like you need to protect that person that you are fighting for.That's about as much as I can explain."

He looked at me and I made a decision.I wanted to feel like that.I wanted to be like him.I wanted to run by his side as a wolf underneath the moonlight."Do it."

"Do what?"He looked at me confused."Mark me."He raised an eyebrow."You sure?"

"Yes I'm sure.Bite me damnit."I grinned and he smiled."Okay.I need to transform real quick.Okay?"I nodde and closed my eyes as he took off his clothes and tranformed.When I opened them in his place was a wolf.

It walked forward towards me and stopped staring me in the eyes.I laughed."You are such a weirdo.Just bite me already."He smiled as well as a wolf could smile and started walking again.I put my hand out in front of him to stop him.He growled annoyed that I stopped him.

"Hey.I don't want you to bite me on my arm.It'll make me look weird.What about my ankle or inbetween my hip and belly button.Well not really my hip it's sorta my side.OR how about my wrist?"He sat down as I continued on.Smart.This probably was gonna take a while.

"OR how about my shoulder.Or my foot.Or my back.Ohhh how about-"The wolf growled telling me to shut up.I laughed."Okay.I'm sorry.But really which one do you think?"He nodded his head towards my wrist."You sure you can bite that small?"He nodded his head and stood up."Okay.Go ahead."I took a deep breath and closed my eyes preparing for the pain of the bite.

And then I felt him bite me.It hurt yes,but I wasn't going to stop him because I felt all of these emotions come into me.It was weird...

I just assumed they were his emotions.I could feel them very strongly and then I realized he was done biting me and I probably sat there for a while with my eyes closed.I opened them to see him sitting in front of me.He was back in his human form dressed and everything.He smiled."You're still in pain?"

I looked at him dumfounded."How did you know?"

"We're officially mates.I can feel all of your feelings.I know when you are in pain and everything."

"Oh yeah.That's kinda creepy."He laughed."You ready to transform?"My eyes widened."Maybe later."He laughed."Okay."

I looked down at my wrist.There covered in blood was my mate's mark.It was a wolf howling at the full moon.It would stay there forever.I felt love well up inside of me and smiled.

This was going to be great.
