~*~*Chapter Five~*~*
~*~*Rachel's POV ~*~*
I walked out of my first class with a smile on my face. I've always loved wolves, but I've always wished werewolves were real rather than a myth. Tough luck. As they say., life's a bitch, and then you die. When I was a little kid I alway's pretended I was a baby werewolf that lost its pack, and was wondering through the wood's trying to find them, and then I came across a pack of teddy bear's, and stayed with them till my pack came back through looking for me. Those were the day's.
"Okay, so your next class is with Jared two door's down. Enjoy. Mrs.Clearsky is a nasty one. I'll see you later." She said smiling and waving at me skipping to her next class. I walked down the hall toward the room Katie told me to go to. I walked in and saw an elderly woman sitting at a desk reading a book.
"Um, excuse me, my name's Rachel Redwood. I'm new here, and was just coming up to have my slip signed."
"Right. Set it down and go find a seat. I'm starting as soon as the bell rings. We have to get into three digit integers today. Quickly Miss Redwood. I don't put up with lolly gagging. Go sit by Jared. He'll fill you in with anything you don't know."
"Th-thank you Mrs. Clearsky." I said walking toward the desk beside Jared.
"Already dislike her?" He asked with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah, I mean, what's up her ass?" I asked sitting down.
"You know, that's a good topic for the Speech and Debate Team. I'll have to mention that." Jared said tapping his chin with his finger.
"Alright class. Calm down and look up here. We have a lot to do today...." Time trailed off as I listened and took notes as fast as I could. Ugh. She's to fast. I looked over to see if Jared was getting it down.
He wasn't even looking at his empty notebook page. He was staring at me. I caught his beautiful emerald green eyes. I lost my breath, and was pulled away all to quickly with Mrs. Clearsky yelling from the front of the room.
"Mr. Woodsburow, Miss Redwood, is there a reason why you aren't looking at the board? I know your mates and all but that gives you no excuse to-"She was cut off by a low meanacing growl comeing from Jared.
"Mrs.Clearsky, if you appreciate this job, then you will learn to keep your mouth shut to things you shouldn't speak about. Am I understood?"
"Y-yes Jared."
"Good. Carry on." I payed attention to the rest of the class, but I knew Jared was watching me. I wrote note's, and did the best I could to get everything right, but it was hard. What the hell was Mrs. Clearsky saying about mates? She must be delusional right? I mean, that shit's only said in fairy tales, when were wolfs find there 'other half'.
They say that when a he wolf, and a she wolf look each other in the eye, and feel spark's fall off there body, that they are true mates for the rest of there lives and can't be given to anyone else. But...werewolvesaren't real...right?
