Chapter Twenty-Eight
Rachel's POV
48 hours. That's how long I slept. I didn't wake up for 48 hours, except to ease my bladder. I didn't know I was that tired, until dad made me sleep. For 48 hours! I have a class I need to set up, and I haven't even gotten started.
I jump out of bed, running to my dresser grabbing a pair of black dress pants and a grey dress shirt before jumping into the shower. After bathing for a half an hour, I jump out, throw the outfit on, blow dry my hair, and apply light make up before grabbing my black heals, and running down the stairs.
"Where are you going?" Jared asks from the kitchen.
"The office," I yell opening the front door.
"Oh no you're not. Rachel, you need to eat before you go and torture yourself for the next few hours. Sit down, and I'll serve you to your favorite."
"And what's that?"
"My gourmet toasted chocolate pop tarts!" He says putting them in the toaster as I laughed in my seat.
"Well, when you put it like that, how could I resist? What's been going on out there?" I ask propping my arms against the counter as he poured two glasses of milk.
"There was a rouge spotting last night. Enforcements are being raised dramatically. After you eat, we're meeting your father to meet the teachers, and then, we're calling all students into a meeting, and we're setting up the class. All other classes are done for the year. It's just self defense. Consider yourself an official graduate from high school Princess."
"Great!" I say with false enthusiasm, as the pop tart popped up. I ate it quickly and waited for Jared to get his shoes on before running out to his car, and driving to the office we've taken over.
"...be here any minute. I promise. She just texted me," my father was saying as we walked into the building. I walked to the meeting room and knocked before stepping in.
"Hey dad. Sorry I'm late. I slept in. You know, 48 hours!" I say with a smile as I went to my seat beside him.
"Right. Well, you certainly look better. Boys, this is a true warrior. She spent 96 hours planning this class and looking at your files. You can thank her. She didn't sleep a wink, now, let's get started. Rachel dear," dad gestured for me to continue.
"Right," I say standing and walking over to the white board, putting the mad up and showing my neat cursive scrawl. "So, there's four classes of students here. There's over five hundred students in each class, meaning, the classes are going to be over filled.
"My idea was that there would be ten groups in each class time, an hour for each class. There's ten of you meaning you would each get your own group. Each group would consist of about 36 students, and there will be seven hours in a day, with one of these hours being a lunch break for you.
"While other groups are not practicing, they will be in another gym working together on their training with either me or another Alpha supervising. I don't know much myself, but I can make sure no one kills each other. Are there any questions?"
"When do we start?" A girl asks.
"As soon as we get groups together. Tomorrow morning. I'll work all night to get these done if I have to. We need to start ASAP, especially with rouges getting closer. Anything else?" When there was no response, I clapped my hands, and excused myself walking to my office, and pulling up my laptop.
