I swam back up to the shore and went to sit back down next to Makoto.
"Wow, that was amazing!" He said smiling brightly and I blushed.
"I-I didn't know you were watching." I stammered, looking down.
"I was and it was awesome!" He told me. Oh dear god, thankfully I didn't embarrass myself. What would have happened if I slipped or stumbled off the edge? I remember one time I tried showing off to Alex and ended up doing a belly flop. It was embarrassing and hurt like hell!
"Makoto, come get in the water with me" Haru called to him.
"Okay, Haru" He said before looking at me and placing his hand on mine.
"I will be back in a bit!" He said, smiling at me, a small blush on his face.
"Okay" I squeaked out as he took his hand off mine and ran into the water after Haru. I was watching the boys but I couldn't find Alex anywhere. I continued looking around for her, finally spotting her about a mile away from them, floating and swimming around. I just smiled before taking out my sketchbook from my bag and began drawing. Not long after, I heard someone come up behind me and I set my stuff down and turned around and saw Rin standing behind me.
"Hey! Kou said you would be here and that she should be here shortly." He told me.
"I didn't expect you to come, honestly." I said to him and he looked at me confused.
"Why?" He asked, frowning slightly.
"I got told that you were antisocial." I told him, giggling.
"I am not" He snapped before he looked around "Where is mermaid?" He asked, turning to look at me again.
"Under the sea." I said, giggling at my joke while I began drawing again.
"What?" He asked, sounding confused.
"She's at home!" I told him, continuing on my sketch. The sketch I was currently working on was Alex as a mermaid. The sketches I have been working on have been of her and the guys and I already had a sketch of Nagisa with penguin characteristics and of Rei with butterfly wings. I needed to finish the one of Alex before I could work on Rin's, Haru's, and I was saving Makoto's for last.
"Why isn't she here with you?" He questioned and I looked at him, seeing he was utterly confused.
"Rin, what is her nickname?" I asked, trying not to laugh.
"Mermaid" he said slowly, confused at what I was hinting at still.
"And mermaids live where?" I replied, beginning to giggle again.
"Oh!" He exclaimed, smacking a hand against his head.
"She's over by the pier." I said to him, waving my hand over to it. He ripped his shirt off and took off and I just giggled before going back to drawing of Alex.
