*Alex*
I woke up, getting up and heading towards the kitchen, my head still hurting but not quite as bad as it was this morning.
"Alexandria, how are you feeling?" Blaise's dad asked me as I walked in.
"Still have a splitting headache" I grumbled out.
"Would you like anything?" He asked as I sat down at the kitchen table.
"Hot tea, please" I asked, smiling softly.
"You and your tea." He said, slightly laughing. I have always drank tea but he has also always drank tea. Thinking about, Blaise never either of them, always telling me she thought they were disgusting. The only hot drink I ever remember her drinking was hot chocolate and she had a habit of adding cherries to her, claiming it tasted like a cherry cordial. I was snapped out my thoughts by the sound of the front door opening and footsteps walking in.
"Dad, is Mermaid up?" I heard Blaise call out, her voice coming from the living room.
"Yes, Blaise. She is in the kitchen and I'm making her some tea" He yelled back.
"Her and her tea." I heard her whisper with a giggle and I cringed a bit.
"Is she okay?" I heard a male voice whisper to her.
"Yes Nagisa, she is." Blaise whispered back and I got up and walked over to the living room slowly.
"Who did you bring?" I asked as I walked to the doorway leaning on it crossing my arms.
"They boys." She said, turning towards me.
"Alexandria, your tea is done so come and drink it before it gets cold. They can come in the kitchen too." He said and I groaned as I went back into the kitchen before flopping down at the table. He gave me cup of tea as Blaise as the others flopped down at the table. Suddenly his pager went off and I grabbed my ears.
"I'm sorry sweetheart, but I have to go. You girls have fun and be safe." He said as he kissed us both on the head before rushing out the door. Blaise got up, grabbing stuff out of the cabinet. I watched as she poured some milk into a pan, heating it up. What is she making? Oh, she making hot chocolate, isn't she? I'm not really surprised honestly.
"So Mermaid, I have a question." Blaise told me as she dug in the fridge, grabbing a jar of maraschino cherries from a shelf, pouring a little of the syrup into the in a cup, scooping a few cherries in also.
"I may have an answer." I said back while raising my tea cup to my lips.
"Why is it when you are hurt, you sleep more?" She asked as I took a drink and sat my cup down. I could see Rei was staring at me with interest.
"Otter, when you are sleep, your body releases somatropin which makes your damaged cells, tissue, or matter heal. So the more you sleep the faster, you heal" I said as I smiled at her as she nodded, taking another drink of my tea. Nagisa, Haru, and Makoto on the other hand looked confused while Rei on the other hand was smiling.
"Can you explain that again? You know, so that we understand." Nagisa said holding his head
"My dear penguin, it's simple. Your body sends little repair potions to your tired cells as you sleep." I said and he looked at me.
"Did you just call me penguin?" He asked me excitedly.
"Y-yea you gave me a nickname so I gave you one. Well you can blame Blaise for that!" I said as Blaise came over, sighing slightly as she sat, taking a small sip of her hot chocolate.
"Huh, why is it my fault?" She asked me as the guys stared at her.
"You know, your drawings?" I told her as she blushed.
"Oh, I want to see!" Nagisa cheered as Blaise blushed but she got up to grab her sketch pad. When she came back, she showed them the drawings she had begun drawing the day we went swimming in the ocean. She had shown me the drawing she had of done of me and it was currently hanging up in her room. She showed the guys the sketches while I finished my cup of tea.
"I'm tired again." I said, yawning while holding onto my head.
"Maybe we should go?" Rei asked, turning to look at me.
"No, you stay with her. I'll go back to sleep." I said as I walked back to the bedroom, climbing into her bed and falling asleep.
"Blaise? Blaise where are you!" I called as I swam in the ocean but instead of the water being blue, it was pitch black. I suddenly heard Blaise scream, sounding frightened.
"Mermaid, help me!" She screamed as she the water took her from me. I tried to swim closer to her but she only got further. I kept swimming and swimming until I was finally able to grab a hold of her. But suddenly the current caught her, yanking her away from me and slamming her into the jagged rocks. I heard a slight crunch before began slipping underneath the water.
"Blaise!" I screamed while swimming over to her as fast as I could.
"Mer-mermaid, why didn't you save me?" She whimpered out as she gasped for breath, blood dripping from her mouth. Suddenly I was on a shore, holding onto her as she took a small breath before convulsing as her body froze and she stared up at me with unresponsive eyes.
"Blaise! No, don't go! Blaise, come on, don't do this!" I yelled out as tears streamed down my eyes as I shook her.
Thunder struck jolting me awake and I grabbed my head. I looked around, noticing it was dark and Blaise wasn't beside me. I began to shake as tears began to fall as I stood up.
"Blaise wh-where are you?" I cried out, feeling my way down the hallway, sobbing slightly.
