Pt. 11

LANA'S POV

Yesterday was amazing. Spending time with Frankie and Innocence lightened up my entire day. I see Frankie's efforts and what I love most about her is that she never gives up. She so driven and I know I play a major part in all this between us which is why im trying not to be so extra. I finished up my last bit of work that was on my desk. The show is in a few days and I am super excited, one of our biggest shows this year. We all have to be on point if we want to book these clients and sponsors. My phone started ringing and it was Jay calling. I answered and it sounded like he been working out. He asked me if I could meet up with him when I get off work. He always up to something. I gave him the ok and hung up the phone. I took my paperwork to Aaron so he could drop it off to Mr. Perry.

"Im out of here! I'll see yall tomorrow. Make sure you all get your final project done by the time you leave here and give it to Mr. Perry". Everyone nodded they head and I walked out the building to my car.

I made the trip to Jay house and pulled up. Charles opened my door and I called Jay letting him know im outside. 

"Hey there pretty lady". I walked up to Jay giving him a hug and he smelled so dam good. It had to be something new. I walked in and sat on the couch and surpsingly he is watch a baseball game.

"Wassup sir. What you been up too".

"Shit practice thats about it. And being here all by my lonesome". He started smiling and laughing knowing exactly what he was doing. "But foreal though ive been chilling honestly".

"Let me ask you this, other than practice do you even get out of this house?". His dog cash came out the back and came towards me sitting by leg.

"Honestly no. Just me and cash here chilling. Im not the going out type of guy unless im in the mood or if im going out with someone. Other than that im here enjoying life".

"Jay sitting in this house is not enjoying life. You need to get girl or something, get out there and not in here looking at your own four walls".

"I do got a girl. Just waiting on her to come around, she's a little hard to get right now". The face he made just now made my heart melt. He looked so cute slighlty pouting. I got up and sat next to him.

"Listen. If you want somebody go for it. If you need me you know I can give you some pointers". He smiled and shoved me.

"What you cupid now? Nah im good. I think I can handle this one on my own. Hey listen speaking of getting out, there's this event tonight for my coach. He's getting this award by the leaugue, come with me?".

My eyes widened and in my head im hestitating on if I should go or not. I told him yes since he do need to get out and ima always be here if he needs me no matter what.

"Wait that means I gotta find something to wear, ugh". He started laughing at me and I just rolled my eyes at him. "Whatever nigga".

"When you get worried you get this vein that comes on your forehead. So im laughing cause you stressing about nothing. If you worrird about finding something, there is a store close by I can have Charles take us and I can get you something".

"Boy no. I'd rather get something out of my closet than have you spend money on me". He got up and went upstairs. "YOU SO RUDE!". I yelled towards the stairs.w A few seconds later he came down putting his phone to his ear.

"Hey Charles I thought I was going to need you but go ahead and take the day off, im going to drive one of my cars today". I tried to take the phone from him which had me chasing him around his house while he still talked to Charles. "Alright cool. Enjoy the rest of your day". He hung up the phone and smiled while I side eyed him.
